If you ever doubted that the country was in the hands of some very stupid and corrupt people, this week should have thoroughly disabused you of that fantasy. In one fell swoop, the administration left millions of dollars of military equipment in the hands of the barbarous anti-American Taliban; broke the North Atlantic Treaty Alliance by bugging out without warning to its members who were in Afghanistan in support of our mission there; left as many as 50,000 Americans and tens of thousands more of our Afghan allies to the not so tender mercies of the enemy; and on Friday Biden lied about it all.
It’s not that most of us wanted this Afghan Mission Impossible to continue forever. It’s just that there’s a right way to do it. President Trump’s Secretary of Defense Mike Pompeo had a well-conceived plan. It included preconditions on the Taliban and removal of all U.S. military equipment and civilians before any group withdrawal. The administration in its wisdom did it backwards: troops first, civilians left to their own devices (we’re even charging those who make it through the Taliban blockade around the one remaining airport $2,000 a head to be evacuated), abandoning Bagram’s well-fortified and equipped air base, and an incredible array of military equipment for the taking, a taking that makes the entire world very unsafe.
Scores of videos have emerged of Taliban fighters rejoicing near abandoned American helicopters, carrying U.S.-supplied M24 sniper rifles and M18 assault weapons, stacking other small arms and materiel in unending piles and driving Humvees and other U.S.-made military trucks.The Taliban have seized airplanes, tanks and artillery from Afghan outposts and from evacuating U.S. personnel, revealing one of the heavier costs of a U.S. troop withdrawal amid a collapse of Afghanistan’s government and army.

Still, Afghanistan is not the main game, neither is Covid. What is coming our way is being heavily disguised. Things are deathy quite on the Pelousi front, even for summer break. SHTF soon. I’m not sure how it is going to break but when it does it will be almost unbelievable. This regime has been so corrupt they can’t hide it forever.

I don’t know if she’s plotting something, or if she’s just trying to keep her head down and avoid notice, because I suspect she was very much responsible for this disaster. She seems to have been on the phone constantly with Milley, and her obsession since January has been to undo everything Trump did.

The only viable strategy is to first somehow neutralize Big Media and Big Tech. Break the leftist’s “agenda transmission belt” and you cut the Left’s nuts off. Going after politicians is putting the cart before the horse. Media first, academia second, politicians last because most of them are just whores and opportunists who’ll do anyone’s bidding for the right price.

Certain orders require presidential endorsement. Sending US troops outside the wire to escort US citizens past Taliban checkpoints for instance. It’s obvious that the military has become dysfunctional with its loss of mission-focus. But even if the US military were running on all cylinders it can’t execute its current mission without timely decisions out of the white house.
Optics mean nothing to these idiots.
