If our military transports cannot fill up their cargo compartments, what would be the point of commercial airlines?

One more question, will rental cars be available for each refugee in the close lot or do they all have to take shuttles?
Back to the military cargo transport planes. Oh, well.
I’d be flying C-17’s and C-5’s round the clock, bringing armor and infantry to the airport. I’d be emplacing artillery, and mortar pits all around the airport, digging in, and militarizing that airport, so that our troops on the ground have some real military infrastructure at their backs, should the SHTF. Meanwhile, such a force build up would make a lot of those Taliban nervous, and perhaps, restore a shred of credibility to the US Military. Constantly enlarging the perimeter, until Kabul is within the confines of the US military controlled area. But, I’d probably have to cancel my vacation to do such things.
The Civil Reserve Air Fleet is a cooperative, voluntary program involving the DOT, DOD and the U.S. civil air carrier industry in a partnership to augment DOD aircraft capability during a national defense related crisis, Air carriers volunteer their aircraft to the CRAF program through contractual agreements with U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM), located at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. In return, the participating carriers are given preference in carrying commercial peacetime cargo and passenger traffic for DOD.

The exit routes are very convoluted, as if they are avoiding areas suspected of containing anti-aircraft missiles.
There is some kind of USAF patrol craft making a very large circle around the abandoned Bagram base, which brings it near Kabul.
Just don’t send over any Boeing 737Max models.
