THE US has been targeted by a cyber attack in a "possible serious breach", according to sources.
Fox News' White House Correspondent Jacquie Heinrich tweeted: "The State Department has been hit by a cyber attack, and notifications of a possible serious breach were made by the Department of Defense Cyber Command.
"It is unclear when the breach was discovered, but it is believed to have happened a couple weeks ago.
"A source familiar tells Fox the State Department’s ongoing mission to evacuate Americans and allied refugees in Afghanistan “have not been affected”.
"The extent of the breach, investigation into the suspected entity behind it, efforts taken to mitigate it, and any ongoing risk to operations remains unclear.
"A DoS spox tells me: “The Department takes seriously its responsibility to safeguard its information and continuously takes steps to ensure information is protected.

Whew, that is a relief. Just think of all the bad things that could happen if our leader was not on the alert. Take Afghanistan, for example. Or the southern border.

Most organizations are not obligated to report breaches until investigations determine there was a breach and/or data exfiltration. I’ve worked both the cybersecurity side and the audit side of these things, and I can tell you if they’re telling us it happen 2 weeks ago, it was an ATP (advanced persistent threat) that had a beachhead for months.
Maybe some vital information was left behind in Afghanistan and the terrorists are using it to hack into governmental institutions.
Joe isn’t on alert. He is in his basement watching scooby doo and slurping his pudding.

Cyber attack? Probably an inside job deliberately done, either by one of our intelligence agencies to destroy documents, or pre-planned with the Chi-coms/Russia to put even more cover on what has gone down in Afghanistan.
Best not be from Russia! You know that Joe was very firm with Vlad about 16 sacrosanct US Interests not to be cyber-attacked. Would hate to think of Vlad getting a letter with Double Secret Probation being assessed!
Right now, seriously, the USofA is like a wounded Wildebeest, beset by the self-inflicted Biden mistake in Afghanistan, abandoned by NATO Allies as a needless liability, and surrounded by laughing Hyenas! The wounded attract predators and opportunists! This is Biden’s gift to us!
