There are marked differences in your immune system after a natural infection with coronavirus and after vaccination.
Which is better?
Even asking the question bordered on heresy a year ago, when catching Covid for the first time could be deadly, especially for the elderly or people already in poor health.
Now, we're no longer starting with zero immunity as the overwhelming majority of people have either been vaccinated or have already caught the virus.
It is now a serious question that has implications for whether children should ever be vaccinated. And whether we use the virus or booster shots to top up immunity in adults. Both have become contentious issues.

There are counter-arguments. Prof Riley points to long-Covid in children, and Prof Openshaw to nervousness around the long-term effects of a virus that can affect many of the body's organs.
But Prof Riley said there was potential in using vaccines to "take the edge off" Covid, followed by infection, to broaden the immune response.
She said: "We really need to consider, are we just frightening people rather than giving them the confidence to get on with their lives? We're close to just worrying people now."

Frightened people are easier to control with promises of safety.

TRUTH! Natural immunity is better than vaccine driven immunity because natural immunity is BROADER and not as narrowly focused as that of vaccine derived immunity. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be vaccinated if you have co-morbidities or simply want it. It will likely make your symptoms less severe or non-existent if you are later infected.
There is NO REASON in the US now for closures or restrictions. Anything other than voluntary wearing of a mask is not justified.

Without the ability to see the future, a tough question to answer.
In the case of my wife and I, she got the J&J jab, a couple of weeks later got the ‘rona, was moderately sick for a couple of weeks, and had a lingering cough a couple more. I, unvaxxed, proceeded to get the ‘rona, wound up in the hospital for nearly 4 weeks, on max O2, one step away from a ventilator. I may have permanent lung damage. We’ll see. So, in our little two subject, ad hoc, “experiment,” it would seem the vax may not prevent, but clearly, and dramatically mitigates the effects of the ‘rona.
But there are cases of people being vaxxed, and being injured or dying, and most people infected don’t wind up on a high-volume O2 machine at 100% O2 at max flow.
I wish my crystal ball was ready at the repair shop.
My sister and family got Covid last winter.
None had the v@x obviously.
Everyone in the house got sick except by BIL who usually gets the sickest for the longest time as he lost a spleen in a football injury in his youth.
Stranger still, his brother's family all got it and his brother never got sick either.
My nephew who has sarcoidosis (autoimmunue lung condition characterized by the growthinflammatory cells (granulomas)) got it too and had the easiest go of it, was back to owrk in less than a week.

Brits are slightly ahead of us in vaccination timeline. Hope the US media will put out this type of article as vaccines begin failing, not only in suppressing transmission, but also in preventing hospitalization and death, as is happening in Israel and UK. Sad times. Also, expect adverse vaccine effects to become more severe with third shot...as every mRNA therapeutics development trials ever have shown. More shots, more side effects.

Kicker? I'm 76 years old, diabetic, and overweight.
BTW he's 57, he's had it himself, and cured himself. Test came back negative, btw. After 6 days. If a doctor waited to treat me that long, I'd no doubt be dead.
The more I read the more I realize nobody knows anything. The PTB just stagger from one theory into the next.
Now that screens have been up at checkout counters and offices everywhere for months we are told that screens are worse than no screens due to their disruption of airflow.
What does a mask do? It disrupts airflow!
Remember washing all your grocery and delivered packages? And then being told not to bother?
6 feet of distance makes a difference! Based on what ‘science’? The particles can hang floating in the air for minutes while you walk through them so what difference can 6 feet make?

You don’t know how sick or even if your wife would have gotten sick if she hadn’t been jabbed.
You don’t know how sick or even if you would have survived if you too had been jabbed.
I don’t know what your “treatment” in the hospital consisted of or what YOU did to PREVENT yourself from getting so sick, so I can’t opine on whether they helped or almost killed you. Either is very possible.
Your problems were that you didn’t have (or chose to ignore) the information you needed to make “life changing decisions”, besides being outright LIED TO!
I hope its not to late! WHATEVER you do, DO NOT GET JABBED! You already have the BEST immunity there is. Don’t RUIN it with the JAB!

Thank you for sharing your ordeal. My wife’s sister and her husband came up to visit from California. They were both horse and hacking around and seemed a bit under the weather. But they assured us that they could not be sick from the coronavirus because they had both been “fully vaccinated”. Their only real interest when visiting is going to restaurants and they insisted that we take them in our car.
This was before the “delta variant” had become the dominant strain in our area but was already impacting the part of California that they live in. A couple days after they left we both had sore throats, a slight fever, were hacking around and generally feeling a bit under the weather. We did everything we could to isolate ourselves from others especially my elderly parents who normally visit often.
For us it lingered longer and had more flu like symptoms than a typical summertime cold, but we were not particularly congested or going through a lot of Kleenex. It altered our routine for most of July.
Of course just about the time we started developing symptoms my wife’s sister called and said that they had the “delta variant” but that fortunately since they had been “fully vaccinated” that they were not contagious.

MIT released a paper that said we should stay 27 ft. apart.
