There's not much to say that hasn't already been said regarding Biden's unconditional surrender to the Taliban, and it's only the first week. Bookshelves will be filled with analyses of these events, and we won't understand their full ramifications for decades. My two cents, for what they're worth, are that the left doesn't consider the fall of Kabul and the betrayal of our allies to be a tragedy. Rather, this is deliberate foreign policy strategy, and it's right on track.
The pattern is clear for those who wish to see. Simply put, the left thinks America is not only evil, but irredeemably so. Hence, any policy, be it foreign or domestic, that weakens our nation-state should be pursued, the goal being that the nation-state will eventually corrode to the point of collapse. They don't care that the hollowed-out dystopia will be long past its desirability for subjugation, so long as they get to be in charge. As Lord Varys said of Littlefinger, "He would see this country burn if he could be king of the ashes".
What started with Woodrow Wilson finally came into full force and in open view under Obama. Every time he could, Obama favored strict Islamist regimes over Western-friendly governments. Whenever overseas pro-democracy demonstrators flew American flags, Obama reflexively sided with their oppressors. He removed sanctions from Cuba and Iran and asked for nothing in return. The JCPOA, the Paris Accords, and the Trans-Pacific Partnership were specifically designed to weaken American power behind the flimsy guise of noble causes.
What would strike the neutral observer as unabashed idiocy comes across as cold, deliberate Machiavellianism to anyone reading between the lines of Obama’s head swivel speeches. Obama is a mechanical Leftist, harboring the paint-by-number faculty lounge dictums of America as a negative historical force.

Excellent observations. I have been thinking the same thing, namely, that there are people in our government who are not at all unhappy with the fall of Kabul and the erasing of US power on the world stage.
The Obama years were full of blatant anti-Americanism and pro-Islamic and pro-Marxist policy decisions. Obama had eight years to spread his malevolent influence throughout every branch and level of government, and that was why the entire US governmental bureaucracy was so enraged when Trump came along and challenged their anti-Americanism.
Obama also profoundly damaged the military in every respect, in terms of policies and personnel and discipline and even strategy. Remember the Obama era ROE that got so many of our troops killed?
I keep wondering who is running Joe. His fundamental impulses, which survive even through his dementia, are bad - anti-American, radical leftist, authoritarian - and always have been bad. Biden is so stupid and stumbling that Obama rarely let him speak in public or represent the US as VP and pretty much left him free to roam the world engaging in corruption and self-enrichment with the rest of the Biden family. But Obama did control him, and I think Obama still does and is the one behind the scenes who is working the sock puppet.
I thought it was Nancy Pelosi (who has been conspicuously silent over the last few days) but, while people are afraid of her, I don’t think she could really call the shots on her own. She was very active in getting Milley and other military leaders to reject and defy Trump during the BLM/Antifa attack last fall, which is something that should have resulted in their immediate removal from their positions. The fact that they were not removed or disciplined in any way is why we are where we are now. But Pelosi alone wouldn’t have been enough to protect them. So while she’s been a busy little bee, she could only do it knowing that she had the approval and protection of someone much more powerful overall.
So I think the real source of it all is Obama, who sees Biden’s faux “presidency” as another four years in power for Obama, and the policies you see are actually Obama’s third term policies.
What they WANT out of this disaster is a distraction while they ram through some of their equally disastrous domestic programs.
Schmucky Schumer held a 3:00 AM session just a few nights ago to slip the egregious HR1 election takeover bill through “by acclamation”. Thanks be to God that Ted Cruz was wise to him, and single-handedly prevented it. The only Republican in the chamber. Sainthood is not good enough for Cruz, for this one action alone.
We get 10 deaths a day in Texas. In traffic accidents.

Half the people here simply DO NOT BELIEVE the above, or they’d NEVER, for a moment, consider playing a part of putting the Left in charge of this country...yet they do, when they sit out November elections because our side has a RINO running.
Very sad, and thing is most here have kids and even grand kids...and are simply so mad at RINOs (or trolling) that they’re willing to condemn those kids/grandkids to live under our own Taliban rule (or worse).
