So why are Republicans so alarmed there is an audit and they refuse to cooperate? By their behavior they induct themselves for fraud.

Audits are a BAD thing.
If you fraudulently enter 1000 ballots into the system and then hand count the same ballots, the count will of course match the system count, 1000. The problem is that the recount was just that, a recount. NOT an examination. Not an investigation. Of course they can be transparent, they were effectively just counting the fraudulent ballots and matching the numbers to the machine count. HOWEVER, when you look at the ballots for duplicates, unfolded mail in ballots, ballots printed on non-regulation paper, ballots from non existent addresses, dead people, illegal voters (alien or otherwise), you begin to see why an investigation was necessary.

So the person who is in charge of the whole process say it was on the level. OK, lets move on.

It’s Swamp 101. Delay and drag out the bad news until some other event (like Afghanistan) buries it. The Arizona audit is a snipe hunt. The bipartisan coup isn’t going to stop being bipartisan after 5 years. Sorry.

I know it’s unlikely but I’d like to see some people address his specific arguments.
