Anecdotally, I can tell you my wife and I got it within a week of each other. She’d just had the J&J a week or two before. I was getting ready to get the jab, but hadn’t yet. She normally does poorly with respiratory illnesses. Sometimes, I do very poorly wit them, other times, j chug right through.
She was pretty sick for two,weeks, but worked right through it, and just cared for herself at home. And she had a nagging cough for about three weeks after.
I wound up in the hospital for nearly 4 weeks,the first week on high volume O2 at 100% at max flow. A step away from the ventilator.
I was released a couple of weeks ago still on O2, but at a minimal level.
I’m recovering pretty well, but still have a way to go.
With N=2,it looks like the jab reduces illness severity markedly.
As I may have permanent lung damage, I kinda think I may have been better off getting the jab a week earlier than I’d planned.
Looks like King (I) caucuses with the D’s, so this could break the 50-50 tie in the Senate. Or precipitate Mitt or Murkowski officially changing teams. With Collins in reserve.
Sounds like more vaxed are getting sick than unvaxed. How can that be?

Thanks, but not to worry. I think any damage that remains will be minimal. I’ve already exceeded recovery expectations. And still workin’on it! Making myself do more every day!
