I saw that in a later report. Apparently the pickup drove up onto the sidewalk, which is kinda, sorta suspicious. The driver is sitting in the cab with something in his hand, which any prudent constable on patrol should assume might be a detonator.
I’d be ok with him blowing himself up except that he might damage valued architecture and artwork in the LOC. Unfortunately, however, all it would take is one incident to bring Camp Pelosi back into existence. The way Nancy is behaving these days, they’d probably extend the perimeter to the beltway. Maybe it’s time to move Congress to Area 51, where the dems can feel safe.

That’s a bit of a stretch. An air monitor could tell if there are any explosives in the truck, and drones would have put an ID on the guy by now. He’s parked by the Library of Congress, not any political building.

I’m calling this a fake story. The truck bombs never seem to explode inspite of the months of planning. Thr government is out of control. No amount of voting is going to fix this.
