WHO chief scientist Soumya Swaminathan, asked about the need for boosters to increase protection against the disease, told a Geneva news conference: "We believe clearly that the data today does not indicate that boosters are needed."
WHO senior adviser Bruce Aylward, referring to booster shots being administered in high-income countries, told reporters: "There is enough vaccine around the world, but it is not going to the right places in the right order."
Two doses should be given to the most vulnerable worldwide before boosters are administered to those fully-vaccinated, he said, adding: "We are a long, long way from that."

I heard this yesterday, right before all of the MSM came out touting the need for booster shots.
I think the WHO also had said a few weeks back, that they did not feel that anyone under 18 should be getting the vaccines.

No, this is analogous to Fauci's early "no masks required" comments where he later explained that was so critical PPE was made available to frontline healthcare workers.

In other words, the WHO prefers to vaccinate all of the poor around the world first, then will later endorse booster shots for everybody.

The WHO know what the CDC knows. Mutants are happening and there are trillions upon trillions of replication events globally, any one of which could be a devastating strain.
It’s absurd to be doing boosters in rich countries when poor countries don’t even have the first vaccinations. Poor lung cells create mutations just as readily as rich lung cells, and it is THAT which must be addressed, not death rates in rich countries. If a bad enough mutant emerges you’ll have all the death rate you can imagine.
