I think you are correct. The US military generals and admirals and the US intelligence community are trying to CYA right now and if it takes turning on Biteme or Trump or both they will do so. Twenty years of no coherent strategy to win the war and an intelligence community that hasn’t got anything right since the Cold War. This bunch of idiots couldn’t pick the winner of a one horse race.
I think the Taliban has civilian side but we control the military side.
It was just reported that the Taliban and our military have negotiated a deal that we leave in safety.

It’s not that he pulled them out, which is something that should have been done years ago, he left all of our equipment there. He should have either taken it back or destroyed it. You can bet that Trump would have handled it much better, but the ultimate fall of Afghanistan would have occurred sooner or later. I think under Trump it would have been later.
During the eight years of the Obama Administration, I never, ever listened, unprompted, to him...ever.
The only time I ever heard his voice was when a clip was included in some podcast by Levin, Bongino, et al.
Same for Biden...for me. I can’t stand seeing their faces or hearing their voices, but I read what they say, so I can deal with that.
