The DPP authorities need to keep a sober head, and the secessionist forces should reserve the ability to wake up from their dreams. From what happened in Afghanistan, they should perceive that once a war breaks out in the Straits, the island's defense will collapse in hours and the US military won't come to help. As a result, the DPP authorities will quickly surrender, while some high-level officials may flee by plane.

Stolen elections have consequences. Impeach Biden and his Hoe now.
Pei-Ping.
..and there is no Eisenhower to tell them they’ll have to ‘crawl across the 7th Fleet ‘ to do it...
Be a damn shame if all those communist leaders and generals had their mansions and luxury cars blow up.
The Taiwanese are NOT the same as the Afghans.
Well well well.
My crystal ball post from yesterday was right on the mark.
Taiwan next,
by ccp/Biden illegitimate regime
design imho .
Incompetence
Or
Complicit
Cuz no one in DC is naive.
.
Indeed. Their domestic missile industry is more robust than it is given credit for being. They have a cruise missile that places a certain dam within range.

It would be smarter wait until January 4, 2023 when Donald Trump is Speaker of the House.

I see you’ve upgraded to a snow shovel.
Usually I’d recommend to quit digging,
but now I want to encourage you,,,
Dig harder
All the way back home to CCP.
.
Maybe not but they’ll be dealing with a massive military force.
One that will overwhelm them with sheer numbers.
Hell, all the Chinese have to do is dock some cargo ships and start offloading troops and tanks.
That’s it for Taiwan.
And they’ll never use because by doing that, they kill millions of “poor, innocent, Chinese farmers, etc”.

All the way back home to CCP.”

Who the hell are you directing your incoherent babbling to?
Tawain has huge foreign exchange reserves, yet spends EU levels on defense - 1.7% of GDP
Approx. 10-12% of its population actually live in China, doing business. The rest of its elites have US or Japan passports. If china comes, these people will already be on their way to Los Angeles.
Taiwan 215,000 budgeted military positions among all branches, of which 188,000 are soldiers and the rest civilian employees. Only 153,000 of those positions were filled in 2018—just 81 percent of the personnel the military should have. 1/3 of its armored forces are inactive because of lack of manpower. It has a service requirement and basic training for young men of just 4 months.
Taiwan has built a very nice welfare state - completely on the back of its implicit US security guarantee
Raise your hand if you want US soldiers dying for Taiwan.
First to go is 3 Gorges Dam. It will kill millions and take out major Chineese cities.
But the current elected Democrats in charge in the US are the same ones that have just dropped the ball in Afghanistan. Taiwan may fight but this administration will abandon them at first shot.

I replied to YOUR post, or are you incompetent in your reading skills ?
Incompetent ?
Or
Complicit ?
Dig harder.
Oh
And bless your heart.
I see your point. Absolutely.
But I think that’s exactly why they wouldn’t do it.
Same way the US didn’t completely destroy every Iraqi power plant or destroy the Haditha or Mosul dams in Iraq.
In fact the US had troops protecting them.
Taiwan is not a fragmented tribal society.
The time could not be better for the Chi Coms to takeover Taiwan.
