Afghanistan fell to the Taliban much faster than President Joe Biden and his top military leaders predicted, a Sunday report from Axios reveals.
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley told a bipartisan group of senators during a Sunday call that a past assessment of how soon the terrorist groups will reemerge in Afghanistan will drastically speed up due to the events over the last week.
On the call with Milley, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham asked if they will revise the assessment given to Congress in June that classified a 'medium' risk of terrorist group reconstituting within two years of withdrawal.
'Yes,' Milley responded about changing the threat assessment report, according to Axios.
He also said he would be more than willing to brief senators in a classified setting on the unfolding Afghanistan situation.

I am sure this will go beyond Afghanistan.
All kind of groups will see that US is not the power to be afraid of, so they will start/upend their actions.
It actually started with the Bay of the Pigs fiasco. After that, suddenly the US lost the UN and everybody started criticizing it. They figured out, it is better to be US enemy than friend. Enemies got bribes, friends got shafted!

So, how are we going to ‘vet’ 10,000+ Afghans before and after we fly them to America. To ensure they are not Taliban terrorists?
Taliban Terrorists are at this moment planning more 9/11’s to kill Americans on a large scale and in the neighborhoods we live in.
The Taliban Terrorists have standing armies of allies like BLMers, Antifa’s and other anti American home grown terrorists in America’s Big Blue Cities waiting for Taliban leadership.
Those big blue cities with less cops will be easy targets for really massive violent and deadly acts of terrorism.
No city/town in America will be safe after the Afghan Taliban terrorists are sent here in mass.

Milley needs to be fired. This lack of planning, no intelligence, poor response if largely his fault. I didn’t like him under Trump and he didn’t improve under Biden.Someone needs to hold our military leaders to account for their poor leadership. Our generals, admirals have all taken on the role of politician.
