The speed of the Taliban’s advance across Afghanistan in the past few weeks left US veterans who served in America’s longest war “stunned and dismayed.” The withdrawal was “a betrayal of American and international forces, said Army Staff Sgt. Seamus Fennessy

I've been waiting to hear from you guys.
Thank you for responding.
The only true way out of this mess is to be savage as we leave by saturation bombing the cities as we go home. Afterwords if any verifiable Afghan Leader shoots his mouth off then bomb his entire village.
That is how you stop aggression. You don’t leave huge stock piles of guns unless of course you want the Chinese to deal with the mess.
I can imagine how the World War II soldiers who stormed ashore at Normandy and got vaporized by 50 caliber machine fire would feel about the decrepit, senile, treacherous old man opening the southern border to criminals from all over the world.
Know Islam, no peace.
No Islam, know peace.
I wish we could send every single antifa there
I’m heartbroken about this too. But at least the women of that country had a brief respite from misery. A generation of girls went to school. There have been 60 women in parliament. Now all these people are going to go through hell again.
Why aren’t the afghani’s fighting back?
Are the Taliban’s forces that strong or is it just that the Afghanis would rather acquiesce?
Our vets signed up to defend our country... they didn’t sign up so Pentagon brass could keep the military contractors orders brimming and filled.
Our vets did their job - the Pentagon, liberal State Department fools and a mentally challenged Biden let them down.
The Vets did their job… the generals, bureaucrats, and politicians did not.
I, too, am a VN vet, and still remembers when Peter Jennings just about creamed his slacks while announcing, with boyish glee, the fall of Saigon to North Vietnamese troops.
I took that so hard, I argued ‘to be or not to be.
I do hope that all “my brethren of the cloth”, do not argue said point. We need you here.
“..I feel for the veterans and their families. Biden is pissing on all of them....”
Fully agree. Prayers need to be up for our vets and the families that lost precious loved ones in that filthy shitehole.
But it’s nothing new for Biden and the nasty ilk like him. He and his filthy ilk have been pissing all over our military their whole lives. They’re evil.
Any young person today would be insane to join the military given the current conditions regarding the jab, and this commie nitwit we have forced on us as “king”.
Our vets fought extremely well; I and probably all on this site are very proud of you.I am NOT proud of Bush, Cheney or the Usurper. The first two took their focus off Afghanistan and bin Laden to invade Iraq and please the neoconservatives. The Usurper runs off for a five day vacation when it appears the Taliban are within SEVEN miles of Kabul and the airport is the only way out for the Embassy staff, interpreters and others who sided with the Americans. The CIA gave them up to a year, then six months, then 3 months, then 30 days, all seemingly in the past week. And as usual, the CIA analytics prove to be an expensive, worthless boondoggle.
AT least they had something resembling PEACE for a little while.
Thanks to our brave men and women.
Another 20 years — to flatten the curve.
The next time you meet a vet - and every time after that - don’t say, “Thank you for your service.”. That’s just a trite cliche now.
Say, “I’m sorry: you went over there to fight for freedom while we sat and let the leftists take over here. You did it for nothing, and it’s all our fault.”
Thank you for your service.
