ACB is like Kavanaugh, an establishment-go-along-to-get-along type in whom we should have no hope for courageous defense of the Constitution. Gorsuch ain’t perfect, but in my opinion he’s the best of the 3, as he’s not a timid little mouse like the other two. It’s ironic that the Bushes were 50-50 on SCOTUS picks (giving us Thomas and Alito, along with Souter and Roberts), while Reagan and Trump were each more like 1 out 3 (Scalia and maybe Gorsuch).

Reagan had a 50-50 track record, like the two Bushes. Reagan gave us two excellent picks (Rehnquist for CJ and Scalia for Rehnquist's old seat), and two lousy picks (O'Connor and Kennedy, and I cut him some slack for the latter because he only selected Kennedy after the Senate torpedoed his first two picks)

IMO, Trump has the worst track record of any GOP president since probably Nixon or Eisenhower. No excuses for naming duds like Kavanaugh as his first choice, or naming a bunch of career federal judges and beltway insiders after running on a campaign pledge to "drain the swamp"
