See my Post #60 about who is eligible for the REGENERON treatment per the FDA EUA.
So, based on all those criteria you outlined, if someone is say, 63 years old and in reasonably good health, does he or she qualify for monoclonals?

It doesn’t look that way to me.
Are you ‘asking for a friend’?
RE: Are you ‘asking for a friend’?
A relative, but it is applicable to many Americans.
If someone short of 65 had Covid and never had any of those morbidities you mentioned, can he still qualify for monoclonals? That’s the general question.
Is Gov. DeSantis working with Frontline Doctors on a state level in Florida yet?

So good to see that you still are unable to communicate in standard written language but need to resort to memes like a 16 year old high school girl.
It is pretty easy to qualify. Ever had an asthma attack>. Are you overweight? Any high blood pressure? It is pretty easy to qualify someone, and with DeSantis he has taken off all qualifications — just need a referral.
Just as an anecdote, I am quite young by FReeper standards (millennial), fully vaccinated, and was OKed for and given this treatment recently due to a breakthrough case of Delta and some relatively minor chronic heart and lung issues. The guidelines seem to be constantly changing (I see this was August 10th) as the fact I was fully vaccinated was basically brushed off and there is a bit of leeway for the doctor as to what health issues are significant enough provided they fall under one of the right categories. Basically, don’t assume you can’t get it. Talk to your doctor, folks, and advocate for yourselves.
Thanks for your insights on how to qualify, that the constraints in practice are not as severe as they are written by the FDA, that doctors have leeway, and that DeSantis removed all constraints in FL.
Also strange how his hospital is the only one that has only unvaxxed in ICU
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bizarre, and some would even say...impossible.
Across the world, there is one hospital with 100% unvaccinated and it happens to be the one an anonymous vax pusher claims to work at. What are the odds?
Regeneron is a combo therapy — early on single therapy was good (bamlanivimab) then they added a second monoclonal to it — but Regeneron is a combination therapy ... and it WORKS. QUICKLY.
....
Thank you for the information! Glad Utah has this. I need to become more educated on this.
So someone is paying attention. That’s good news. Therapeutics like this plus easy ramp-up of ICU beds and staff is the way to handle this. Depending on a leaky vax is a non-starter.
Thanks
Yep, Gas_dr was right...
People with hands-on experience in the real world always divine the correct solutions.
That is why everything politicians propose fails. Their only real world skill is emitting gaseous vapors.
Treatment is the answer.
You can not keep people from getting sick. Sickness is normal.
Not fun, but normal.
