The Biden administration said OPEC+'s decision to gradually ease production cuts is "simply not enough" during a "critical moment in the global recovery..." The White House is also calling on U.S. regulators to scrutinize prices at the pump.

Darn. If only we had oil over here that we could produce. Oh well! Hopefully the Muslims will take pity on us and increase the amount they sell to us.
Let’s not even bring up Domestic Production.
How come we did not have these problems when Trump was in charge? Sarc.
What a traitorous clown.
What happened? When Trump was President we were energy independent.
I don’t even know what to say😮
We don’t need no damn pipelines here!
This is STUPID on a biblical scale....
No need, all of America is scrutinizing the prices and they don't like what they see. This is politically deadly for Dems in 2022.
Call for increased production while doing the old wink wink, nudge nudge routine.
High energy prices fit in nicely with the communist agenda.
Either way the price of gas is going up. This is just window dressing.
Stupid yes..but all part of their overall plan.
We need to recruit those recently unemployed American oil pipeline workers into the military. We will need them to protect our ME oil lifeline. Too bad that all the North American oil began drying up 1/20/21.
The Biden gas price increases are outrageous. Almost $2 per gallon here in Reno. A little late for him to be concerned now.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
“No need, all of America is scrutinizing the prices and they don’t like what they see. This is politically deadly for Dems in 2022.”
As far as I can tell from my perch here in the blue part of Ohio, the media drives what my neighbors think. If the media says gas prices can’t be controlled by the president, and that life is good, my Biden voting neighbors will be fine voting Dem.
During the oil production dispute between Saudi Arabia and Russia, the Trump administration actually called upon these countries to CUT production -- to drive UP the price of oil on the global market.
This was done in an attempt to protect the oil-producing industries in Texas and the Great Plains from a catastrophic price collapse.
As with everything in economics, there are always going to be winners and losers in every transaction. Personally, I would have no problem shutting down our domestic oil production for a couple of years -- and pay every worker in the energy sector a stipend to cover their lost wages -- if Saudi Arabia and Russia are willing to sell us oil for $10 per barrel.
Hey! Stupid! Instead of asking an organization that hates our guts to fix the oil problem, why not ask the twit in the WH who created the problem in the first place to reverse his stupid ban on federal oil leases and killing the Keystone Pipeline?
