Keep wearing masks and you’ll be even sicker.

My wife and I, both in our sixties, had it in January/February of 2020 before it had a name and survived it without doctor visits or drugs, and I have the IgG and IgM antibodies to prove it.

None of that sh!t happened to us.

The REAL thing we should be concentrating on is THIS WAS A BIOLOGICAL ATTACK BY THE CHINESE COMMUNIST PARTY ON EVERY HUMAN BEING ON EARTH.

We should have turned Xi Jinping into a lamppost decoration eighteen months ago.

There is still time.

Not trying to be a trouble maker but could these effects also be attributed to being on a ventilator for long term? (I have no idea how many days or weeks that would be.) At the very least perhaps being on a ventilator would be partially responsible for the effects.

“The five most common symptoms were fatigue (58%), headache (44%), attention disorder (27%), hair loss (25%), and dyspnea [difficult breathing] (24%),” the reviewers reported.

Whew, I was worried it would be mostly subjective.

It’s been 13 days since my fever broke and the Regen-COV treatment, and i have this chronic fatigue, full headache pain that has a malaise like when you have the flu, weak muscles especially in my calves. Also my lungs feel like i can’t take in full deep breaths like prior to Covid. Hope these symptoms go away completely. I would have been OK if i lost my taste and smell over these symptoms. The first 2 weeks i also lost taste and smell but that already came back.

My wife was ill with it in June 2020 and reports she is just now feeling recovered from what she called “COVID brain” which I guess would be the attention deficit cited by the article. In a phone call this afternoon with a work colleague who’s entire family has been down with it for about 2 weeks, he reported continuing loss of energy/stamina with some shortness of breath. His 22-year-old son lost 25 pounds and was not overweight in the least before the illness.

He also told me about another work colleague who’s wife is having to learn how to walk again and exacerbated a pre-existing asthma condition. This other work colleague had pre-existing conditions from military service (TBI & PTSD) that have been problematic with the illness. It appears that surviving a bout of COVID comes with very individualized lingering effects for some and others come through with minimal effects after recovery.

I’ve been fortunate to avoid it to this point and I’m taking my zinc/Vitamin D supplements in the hope that stands me in good stead.

I’ve had covid, 9 months ago. I’m still experiencing fatigue, and have difficulty breathing. It is almost like I’ve developed asthma.I had a mild case.

I was in the hospital for three weeks in February / March and needed another three weeks before I could get back to work as I was still on oxygen, couldn't walk 30 feet without seriously losing my breath and couldn't talk without coughing. As that waned I slowly started walking more and more each day and now walk 3-5 miles a day and walked 18 holes for the first time last weekend.

Weirdly enough, I lost my sense of taste and smell for only about four days and was losing alot of hair once I got home from the hospital but that abated after 2-3 weeks.

I do find that I have to concentrate on tasks at work harder than before and really have to buckle down to get stuff done without distracting myself, something I never had a problem with before.

And yes proust, Wuhan should be a smoking crater.

I lost my smell for almost 6 months but it’s back now. It was nice when I hiked and couldn’t smell anything in the outhouses.
