“The five most common symptoms were fatigue (58%), headache (44%), attention disorder (27%), hair loss (25%), and dyspnea [difficult breathing] (24%),” the reviewers reported.

Whew, I was worried it would be mostly subjective.

A VAX’d friend, who just recently had cv, said a migraine was her worst symptom, out of several.

It’s about degrees. For example, fatigue. Sounds vague, right? How about the British Olympics team rower who can’t physically sustain a workout for more than a few minutes in a day months after having COVID? Or the professional soccer player who spent all last summer unable to run down the soccer field? This isn’t fatigue as in “I feel a little sleepy”, this is fatigue as in world-class athlete can’t perform at even Average Joe levels anymore.

The attention disorder is particularly frightening. I’ve heard this described as “brain fog” and cognition tests have measured significant loss of IQ in some people. As in a professional accountant who can no longer balance their checkbook.
