The first issue I have with your comment is that admitting to be "hard provax" is that you have shut off the problem from considerations of freedom and informed consent and denial of medicine. Mandating a medical treatment as a condition of employment used to mean the side effects become the employers problem.
Ran into that at a place that made lead based materials. We could not mandate treatment. We could OFFER it, but not mandate it, since the cheletants (I know I spelled that wrong) could lead to health issues.
One guy did not take it.
Same with mandating smoking abatement programs. A place I know of use to randomly test for nicotine. Positive and you were fired. Didn’t hold up in court.
But that was in 2000 or so, when we had the rule of law.
They don’t seem to be worth a bucket of warm piss at this point. The executive and judiciary seems to want to fight it out on whose running the country.
A judge ordered taxes on my Directv bill a few years back without the legislatures approval because they taxed the cable companies. I asked my representative when did they approve the Directv tax? We didn’t he said. I said then who did? A judge he replied. Ok so when did a judge get to levy taxes under our state I thought that was the sole purview of the legislature? Legal maybe, certainly immoral. I have 15 employees. I encourage them to get vaccinated or weekly covid tests or in some cases work from home.
But I can’t demand it. The vaccine is NOT approved by FDA and has documented side effects including death. How can I require such a thing?
The government isn’t coercing anyone into anything. It is becoming a job mandated vaccine. For most of my career my job included mandated flu shots.

I have worked in healthcare since I graduated from college in 1980.
I have **always** been required to have blood tests to prove titers for measles, mumps, rubella - or get the vacvines. I have always been required to prove I was negative for TB. And then required to get annual flu vaccines.

Did the governor order that, even for private employers in the entire industry you worked in? Even the fact that these dictats are coming from the governors who are STILL bypassing the legislature under phony baloney “emergency powers”, 15 months into an “emergency” when the legislature has constantly been meeting and passing laws is something no actual conservative would defend. Conservatives don’t support rule by dictat. We have a different name for that kind of political philosophy.

The workplace should be safe and as free of covid as possible.
So should restaurants, the library, domestic flights, and

Unvaccinated are filling hospitals at over 90% and far more likely to be infected with covid.
If the antivaxxers don’t want to protect themselves from disease then they should be denied all of the above and more. People with infants and those who are immune compromised should not have to stay home because of those who don’t want to contribute to the safety of society.
