“You know - the thing.”
Typical Democrat asshole.
He shouldn’t have let that hunting comment pass.
it has a shoulder thing that goes up?
Flimsey Grahamnesty has voted for every lunatic Senile Joe has appointed.
Assistant Democrat is all he’ll ever be.
Euthanized would be more appropriate.
What about the underbarrel chupacabra launcher?
bkmk
Second, there really isn't a good definition of "assault weapon" because it is primarily just a scary, made-up term.
Third, the left doesn't want a solid definition of "assault weapon" - ever. They do want the power to ban them. Then they want the definition to be vague enough that they can go after basically any firearm, feature, manufacturer, seller, or owner they please.
I’ve seen a slight shift to describing gun control to mean military style weapons. That’s pretty much anything.
The liberal definition of “assault weapon” is a gun that shoots bullets.
The left needs to be instructed over, and over, and over again that the 2nd Amendment has absolutely nothing to do with hunting.
He should have pinned her down and made her answer the f@#$ing question, especially since she doesn’t have a real answer.
I don’t know much about guns, but I know what I want to ban.
I don’t know much about art, but I just paid Hunter 500 big ones for one of his paintings.
I don’t know much about sexual harassment, but I hope you’ll slow down and submit already. I can’t run much longer.
There’s no such thing as an assault weapon.
shhhhhhhh... we don’t talk about that here
from what i’ve read this has to be about the worst possible nominee
also the entire aaa teeee efff is an illegal gangster outfit (not commenting anyone on the payroll there...commenting instead on the very idea of such an agency itself....using our own tax money, taken from us by force of arms, to deprive us of our constitutionally-recognized liberties and property...and setting us up for the very kingship or dictatorship that our nation’s Founders wrote the 2A to prevent..... horrible horrible!)
I too have noticed that terminology popping up in a few places. Someone else pointed out that is a trap - virtually every firearm ever made has been used by a military at some time, some where. If you let that camel's nose under the tent, then everything is subject to banning because it is a "military" firearm in nature.
I've long said that yes, I want (generally) military style weapons to defend myself and my loved ones. In broad terms, the military looks for weapons that are effective at stopping enemies. For me, ditto, that's a priority. If I have to use deadly force, I want something as effective as can be. Reliability, ruggedness, maintainability, etc... My priorities for home/personal defense are very much in line with those. So naturally, "military style" weapons tend to make pretty good choices. Granted my personal sidearm is probably going to lead a much easier life than one carried by your average 18 yo in the middle east. And yes, or no, I'm not humping 300 rounds through the desert on patrol. So my priorities are similar, but slightly different.
Define assault weapon? Any gun that has a clip; any gun that fires more than one shot at a time before reloading.
