New York GOP mayoral hopeful Curtis Sliwa wants to team up with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, (D-NY), to clean up a stretch of East Tremont Avenue which lies in the Bronx portion of her Congressional district.
Sliwa sent AOC a letter last week, pitching the joint cleanup effort in Parkchester.
“To bring greater awareness to environmental protectionism and to promote more city-wide public service, I hope you can join me in picking up trash and removing garbage from this polluted location site in the Bronx,” Sliwa wrote in the letter.
“While we are a politically unlikely duo, this bipartisan invitation reflects the important message that all New Yorkers can come together to improve our City through public service — regardless of political affiliation. Everyone can — and should — play a role in protecting and cleaning up our environment,” he added.

Smart. He’s demonstrating personal involvement and a willingness to roll up his sleeves and participate in concrete solutions to social problems.
He knows that she won’t have anything to do with that. Because racism.

The majority of blue cities are covered in filth and the wealthy white libs want to save the planet. One street at a time seems a good place to start.

Just line up AOC toward the ocean, get her to talk about how great socialism is and behold, all the trash in the street will be blown out to sea.
You won’t get any help from pretty-but-dumb AOC. She thinks all the crime can be blamed on Whitey.
She might if she can turn it into a pervert party or a global warming party.
I love it when someone calls out these rich marxists to put up or shut up.
I tell all the climate terrorists that if they are true believers and are truly concerned about the climate and environment then they should give up all fossil fuel products:
all modes of transport (fuel, tires, interiors)
plastics - cellphones, clothes, shoes, computers, water bottles, latte machines...
Many processed foods (all junk food)
Tables, chairs, most furniture
Hair dyes, make-up, tattoo ink...
They would be standing naked and hungry on a dirt road.
Basically they should watch the 'Oppressed' segment of The Holy Grail to see what their lives would be like.
Suck it up Brinx. AOC is saving the world. She doesn’t have time for cleaning streets. And I love the lectures about saving the environment I get, as one who lives off grid waaaaay out in the boonies, from people in concrete jungles living in luxury that think cauliflower is racist.
I’ve heard about Sliwa and his group and what they have done for NYC over the decades. But does he have a profession, other than leading his group? I’m not being accusatory of him, just curious.
