The Federation of State Medical Boards warned July 29 that physicians and other healthcare professionals could be at risk of losing their medical licenses if they spread COVID-19 vaccine misinformation on social media, online and in the media.
FSMB, a nonprofit that represents all U.S. state medical boards, said any clinicians who create or spread vaccine misinformation or disinformation risk disciplinary action by state medical boards, including suspension or revocation of their medical license, according to a statement emailed to Becker's Hospital Review.
"Due to their specialized knowledge and training, licensed physicians possess a high degree of public trust and therefore have a powerful platform in society, whether they recognize it or not," FSMB said. "They also have an ethical and professional responsibility to practice medicine in the best interests of their patients and must share information that is factual, scientifically grounded and consensus-driven for the betterment of public health."
FSMB has not yet formally defined "misinformation" or "disinformation" in its policy, but the organization's ethics committee is studying the issues of physician misinformation and disinformation and plans to provide more guidance at a later date, an FSMB spokesperson said in an emailed statement to Becker's…

I trust her FAR more than anything from Biden or Fauci.
They certainly are pushing us into a shooting war.
They’ve been doing the same with climate science and academics for years.
It’s only natural that they’ve extended their oppression and censorship to this.
Why should doctors be in MORE danger for spreading this “misinformation” than spreading other misinformation? Does this not infer that it’s been OK and actually approved for doctors to spread misinformation before?
Who decides which information is misinformation?
I seem to recall the Left saying there is no such thing as objective truth. What happened to that?
Same kind of oppression could easily be applied to the specialized field of law. Citizen oversight is next to impossible.

The basis for scientific research is that there are almost no absolutes. Everything is subject to re-examination to determine if accepted “facts” are correct.
To deny this is to risk a return to the modern version of the dark ages.
And Trump’s opportunity to come clean on his own ignorance wanes with the effectiveness of these shots.
Maybe doctors who get “unlicensed” can advertize that fact. I would be all too happy to visit them for consultations about my health and write them a check.

Nina Teicholz* realized that doctors and medical researchers have not been allowed to voice independent opinions for at least the past 50 years.
And it ALL comes down to our government. If government says that fat is bad and carbs are good (which all the evidence now says is wrong), then literally EVERYONE will ‘agree’, as researchers who don’t ‘agree’ lose their grants or, for doctors, expose themselves (and their medical groups) to massive liability.
In other words, as long as you can say “I was just following (government) orders” you’re ok, and protected. Sound familiar?
