Donald Trump on Thursday night attacked the embattled governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo - saying he has 'got real problems' and faces an uncertain future.
The former president was speaking at a Republican fundraiser for the state party, held at his Briarcliff golf course in New York. The speech was attended by Trump's former lawyer Rudy Giuliani, accompanied by his son Andrew Giuliani - who is hoping to challenge Cuomo in November 2022.
'Cuomo's got real problems,' Trump said, mentioning Senate Republican Minority Leader Robert Ortt, who would participate in a Senate trial to remove Cuomo if the Assembly impeaches him....
...He said Cuomo was 'horrible on COVID,' according to attendees who spoke to The New York Post.
...Andrew Giuliani's rival for the Republican nomination, Rep. Lee Zeldin, was also present.
Trump called up Rudy Giuliani to the podium and they discussed the crime situation in New York.
The former president urged guests to get vaccinated for COVID and encouraged other Americans to do so 'because I don't want to see anything bad happen to my people.'

His message is to get vaccinated. Wow. Makes me think if back in office he would continue the vax or else policies, along with lickdowns and mail in voting. He sounds like a true believer in the carts of dead people outside of every hospital in America.
If he did not support the mail in voting, it would be interesting.

Trump busted his hump to get us free vaccines after dozens of drug trials turned up dry. He saved a whole lot of lives getting them to us, and that’s no lie.

Maybe you need to review last year and educate yourself on Project Warp Speed. We have these vaccines available for any American that wants one because Trump. He also said that effective therapeutics were probably more important than vaccines.
After all President Trump has done for our country, you insult him !

You have to take into consideration that when the virus first showed up, the fears were legit.
President Trump made the right choices basing his actions on worst case scenarios. Operation warp speed made perfect sense then. So did flatten the curve.
Nobody knew how mild the virus would be.
Nobody knew the Democrats would politicize it so shamelessly.
Nobody knew Fauci was such an a-hole.
Nobody knew they would be able to steal the election with mail-in ballots.
But a year-and-a-half later it’s a completely different story.
A year-and-a-half later covid is so politically weaponized that telling the truth is political suicide. Covid is such tangled web of lies that no politician in their right mind is going to walk into that trap.
Let President Trump encourage people to get vaccinated. It shows he’s compassionate.
That doesn’t mean he would support mandatory vaccines, lockdowns or anything else mandatory. It means the opposite.
You didn’t hear him support anything mandatory - all you heard was him encouraging people to get vaccinated. That’s no different than encouraging everyone to go to the doctor and get a regular check up.
I’m not getting vaccinated but I don’t mind President Trump saying what he said.
Private group not the same as public statements as he does.
President Trump always presented choices for individual decision.
