At least 233 staffers at a pair of San Francisco hospitals have tested positive for COVID-19, the majority of whom were fully vaccinated but became infected with the delta variant.
Fifty-five cases were discovered among staff members at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital as of July 31, Cristina Padilla, a public relations officer at the hospital, told The Hill. Of those who tested positive, roughly 75 to 80 percent were fully vaccinated, according to The New York Times. More than 7,000 staff members reportedly work at the facility.
The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Medical Center, said 183 staff members had tested positive as of Friday, 153 of whom were fully vaccinated, the Times reported.
Most of the infections were reportedly from the highly infectious delta variant, which has taken hold in the U.S. as the dominant COVID-19 strain.
Two of the infected staff members from UCSF Medical Center were hospitalized, according to the Times.
Padilla told The Hill that none of those who tested positive at San Francisco General required hospitalization. Most of the infections caused mild to moderate symptoms, according to the Times.
Asymptomatic cases were also detected through contact tracing. The infections were predominately spread through community exposure, according to Padilla.
The hospital’s chief medical officer, Lukejohn Day, told the Times that the cases would be far worse if staff members were not vaccinated.
“We’re concerned right now that we’re on the rise of a surge here in San Francisco and the Bay Area,” Day said. “But what we’re seeing is very much what the data from the vaccines showed us: You can still get COVID, potentially. But if you do get it, it’s not severe at all.”
Padilla sounded a similar note, writing that vaccinations are effective at averting hospitalizations and deaths.

The COVID-19 vaccine won’t make you test positive for COVID, though you may test positive for antibodies. ...
Has anyone gotten COVID-19 after being fully vaccinated?
Yes, but it is relatively rare. COVID-19 vaccines are not 100% effective at preventing COVID-19, so it makes sense that people have gotten COVID-19 even after being fully vaccinated. It’s a good reminder that fully vaccinated people are not invincible and still need to take many of the same precautions as before.
That said, studies show the vaccines are very good at preventing severe cases of COVID and hospitalizations. So while you can still get COVID-19, you’re less likely to become very sick with it after vaccination.
Ok so the take ways are the "vaccine" (they don't specify which) is expected to make covid-19 cases "relatively rare". This expectation seems to have been wrong.
The other expectation is that the "vaccine" is very good at preventing severe cases and hospitalizations. I have seen conflicting news stories about this, so I think this expectation is likely wrong.
The list of possible side effects do not acknowledge the chance of death...despite already there being a HUGE GIGANTIC SPIKE in reported deaths...but I presume the Doctor is just going along with the Orwellian CDC brush off of the GIGANTIC SPIKE as not having any confirmed causal links. So the expectation that it is not potentially deadly is certainly wrong, and alarmingly suppressed by the CDC.
Now what about long term negative effects of the "vaccine"? No mention of any bad long term effects in the article. Of course there is no Empirical data one way or the other on long term effects. The article seems to say its all over in 6 months. Critics of the "vaccine" with medical backgrounds seem to abound who disagree, some even predicting very dire doom consequences. So the expectations of somebody may be right, but I am not sure which group.
Conclusion: If you are in a very high risk category for taking Covid-19 and don't have that many years left in your life span (which commonly go together), then it might make medical sense to take it perhaps--or perhaps not. But in all other cases it seems a very bad choice. And for the young and healthy it seems an insane choice.
When looking at stories, or data, keep in mind the timeframe. Is the data they are sharing/reporting regarding the entire vaccination timeline (from Jan)? Or, is it what's happening recently, in the last week or last month? The following are about the current surge.
Good post—there is no evidence any of the vaccines have met their original stated objectives.
They are Big Pharma payola, pure and simple.
RE: The article seems to say its all over in 6 months.
I don’t know what this sentence means. Are they saying that the efficacy of the vaccines WANE in 6 months? What does ‘It’s all over” mean?
The mRNA experiments ARE the Delta variant.
Examine them base pair by base pair against a genetic sequence of the current versions of the Wuhanic Plague, which has been undergoing base pair deletion since at least March of 2020.
It’s a mathematical identity, right down to the 12 base pair Proline Arginine Arginine Aniline (PRRA) sequence to attack the ACE2 in human cell membranes, the HIV glycoprotein 120, and the prion (misfolded protein) at the tip of the spike that is due to the molecular pressure of all the toxins the ChiComs attempted to hang on this coronavirus like the nasty “ornaments” Hillary hung on the White House Christmas tree a few years back.
Side-note: Those hot nurses are probably lesbians. I worked for a while as an IT systems engineer supporting SF General (Zuckerberg) Hospital. Every big meeting was comprised of mostly females, all lesbian. Confirmed by their talk ("can't wait to get home and eat p**sy!"). Left within a couple years; party atmosphere but not my cup of tea.
yeah that's the scam the hospital uses to get out of paying for time off while you quarantine.
2 of 153 were hospitalized. Is that about the same as the unvaxed? And can someone give these people drugs that help them get better? Or are they still intubating and letting them die?
I’ve heard intubating is still popular :-(
Were they “vax”d?
Means the common inference is that after six months there are no effects. The article mentioned negative effects that might last a few days and a positive immunity effect that could last from 3 to 6 months. Thus a reader is handed the expectation that after 6 months or so all effects have worn off including good or bad. Make more sense?
They do have some evidence. Perhaps it is not supportive of their cause/beliefs. Because either the hospital admin/PR folks or The Hill or the NY Time ...or all three... are not telling us the whole story:
They say 233 out of 7000+ were positive.
They say 183 (near 80%) of those infected were 'fully' vaxed.
They DON'T say what % of full staff were vaxed - so you can't tell which group had higher incidence rate. If less than 80% of staff were vaxed, then the vax sucks because the vaxed were over-represented in the number of infected. Perhaps not, but I don't for a minute believe they would forget to add the details if the un-vaxed were over-represented.
They have a control group to compare severity - the 30 folks infected but not vaxed. They say 2 of the 233 people were hospitalized but they don't say if they were vaxed folks or not.
Either way, the real story is: hardly anyone sick, nobody died and Delta is a fast-spreading, natural immunity providing, low-risk wimp of a variant.
Also, so many today use the term "fully vaccinated" despite the fact the folks are only fractionally protected. We need a new phrase that means vaxed to the max with protection somewhat lax.
from around 1min, Dr. Byram Bridle, Viral Immunologist, University of Guelph Professor, speaks to Laura about “vaccines” driving novel variants:

video should go viral (excuse the pun).
The “vaccines” are working. They are a cure for Wuhan flu hysteria, not a vaccine for the flu. Hysteria sufferers who get the vaccine overcome their hysteria and drop their precautions thus get the flu and help reach herd immunity. The success of the vaccinations is measured by the number of vaccinated who get the flu.
Padilla told The Hill that none of those who tested positive at San Francisco General required hospitalization. Most of the infections caused mild to moderate symptoms, according to the Times.

So 75-80% were vaccinated...NO ONE WAS HOSPITALIZED. But the CMO says it would be far worse if staff members were not vaccinated. Hello! The unvaccinated were NOT HOSPITALIZED just the same as the vaccinated were not hospitalized. These people just regurgitate talking points without thinking.
Most of us learned in high school biology class what were good media for growing bacteria cultures. OR have learned what food prep services harbor bacteria or do not.
The fabric of your typical mask combined with a constant supply of warm moist air plus darkness (face side) is “happy land” for bactetia.
Note “bactetia” is a new variant of bacteria. :)
It seems to me that it is the vaccinated people who are spreading the new variant covid.
That may have been true with wuhan flu, uncle miltie, but now we have cousin It going after the middle-aged folks.
It’s not surprising to see nurses getting breakthroughs, tho, given the high viral loads they’re exposed to, long hours and just plain disheartened by covid patients dying. They’re not as ‘on it’ as last year when they were full of spit and vinegar. Some have given up and quit. Others are slogging through the mud. I read an Arkansas hospital offering $25K signons for contract nurses - they’re about 300 short.
Yes, I can see her lungs are badly swollen.
