As a graduate of Oral Roberts University, I was blessed to spend a lot of time with Oral Roberts himself.
Roberts repeatedly told me, “Go into every man’s world and meet them at the point of their need.”
He was referring to Christians evangelizing throughout the world. We Christians cannot wait for people seeking God to stumble into our churches. Rather, Christians must go to them and invite them to join our movement.
In a similar manner, conservatives must go!
They must go to black entrepreneurs. They must go to black parents. They must go to black preachers.
No more buffoonery. No more Stepin Fetchit. No more minstrel shows.
Blacks don’t need to be persuaded or convinced about conservative values. Blacks are the most conservative group in the country and have been for most of America’s existence.
Conservatives must start financially supporting legitimate, credible black organizations and individuals who have standing within the black community.
Conservative groups must form strategic partnerships with these credible black groups and individuals.
Far too often, conservatives attempt to address issues publicly that are of particular interest to the black community, but with not one credible black person on the platform with them.
Do conservatives not realize the optics of having a white person who has no standing in the black community attempt to address racial issues?

Very informative article.
” Blacks are the most conservative group in the country”
What a crock! Blacks vote in the 80-90 percentile in elections for the RATS. Trump cracked it a bit, but they are certainly not conservative.
Can a church which depends on a congregation's "free government money" for tithes really oppose the government?
From the reprehensible, divisive racist Mr. Thug Life himself, no less.
I agree. Trump actually tried to make real inroads in the Black Community, Under him, funding for HBCUs was not only restored, but tripled. The 2018 tax plan had special economic empowerment zones, many of which were in Blakc communities. And the First Step Act was a narrowly tailored justice reform bill that got some reformed Blacks out of serving very long prison sentences.
For his Second Term, he had a Platinum Plan with an ambitious goal to create 500,000 Black-owned businesses. Unfortunately, since Biden won (cheated?) his way to the WH, we have TV commercials with ordinary Blacks discussing rectifying the low number of Black-owned businesses. Talk about the country shooting itself in the foot!
Biden seems to want the steady diet, which will continue the lowered productivity and inflation.
I developed a deep understanding from living in Brooklyn in the 1970s.
Exactly. Americans (at least conservatives) are generous and helpful outside the confines of government programs, and studies have been done that show this.
At a gut level, most conservatives realize the intrinsic damage that chronic dependence on others for handouts brings, even if they can't elucidate it.
And that is the truth. It is because the fundamental engine behind Leftism is the exercise of fostering resentment by pitting one group against another, which is a basic tenet of Marxism.
But they have realized that Marxism, the pitting of one economic class against another won't work in the United States, because opportunity to succeed exists for EVERYONE...they have simply substituted Race for Class.
In the short term, it has been working splendidly for them, but in the long term, my heart tells me it will fail...as long as we don't give them enough time to institutionalize it, which we are failing at.
God loves his children. His creation is a marvel of science able to meet the life needs of those who come here.
God is no respecter of persons, which means his word is available to all who so choose.
So attempting to make the case that he speaks only to LDS is another deception courtesy of our friend Elsie.
PS, I chose in this case not to read the attached article as it appeared to be chosen to prove a point that scripture refutes.
The point is that even obambam himself points to black culture as the problem.
True, except that a distinction should be made btwn American blacks (and Somali) and others from Africa such as Kenya.
True...my point was, he doesn’t believe it for a second it should be jettisoned, and fully embraces it when it is politically expedient.
HE (Obama) knows “black culture” is a problem, but he also knows it is a valuable tool to keep a black underclass in a state of perpetual turmoil, anger, violence and resentment, which does, of course, play directly into the hands of any disciple of Alinsky, as he most surely (and self-admittedly) is.
A pox on him. Or worse.
Yeah...
...Ezra Taft Benson is just another pseudonym I use.
Dang!
I wish that I could understand something without reading it!
as it appeared to be chosen to prove a point that scripture refutes.
Your real screen name should be Flipper.
So you are publically stating that a very high ranking Mormon actually goes against Scripture?
HMMMmmm...
Your real screen name should be Flipper.
I like that better than Avoider.
No Flipper you have it exactly backwards. It is you attempting to prove a point that scripture refutes.
What 'point' is it that you imagine I am trying to prove?
THIS one??
1. The prophet is the only man who speaks for the Lord in everything.
