They were Metropolitan DC police, not Capitol Police.
MDP have 3,800 officers and 600 civilian staff.
4 Suicides in 7 months. Match that to other big city police departments and you won’t find much difference, especially after the past year and a half. How many are afraid that they’ll someday be in—or charged with—a “George Floyd” situation, and not be able to justify their actions?
The Capitol Police, who’s jurisdiction covers 20 blocks surrounding the Capitol Building, employs more than 2,000 sworn and civilian personnel.
THE DNCMEDIA!
Just like COVID, they don’t tell you all the numbers, in hopes you scream and grow faint and continue watching/reading...
Good point. Checking the numbers... In 2019 in the U.S., 228 LE officers died by suicide, most of them in NY, CA, TX, and FL:

I can't find numbers for the MPDC or the numbers for 2020, but an alarmingly high number of LE officers take their own lives.
Still, we don't know what exactly happened to these four DC officers. Not enough details, yet.
Condolences to their families...
