Fox News host Laura Ingraham and Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) traded verbal blows on Ingraham’s prime-time program Monday night over the $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure package currently being debated in the Senate.
After “The Ingraham Angle” host echoed small-government Republican complaints that the bill is a “Trojan horse” for massive Democratic Party spending projects, she asked Cassidy — one of the lead negotiators of the package — if he had read the 2,702-page bill.
“My staff and I have read it totally,” Cassidy responded before adding: “And defending it, my gosh, why wouldn’t you want this, as one of my colleagues said?

Is anyone better at graphics than me and can make a picture of Pelosi with a chihuahua on her lap, and Cassidy's face on the chihuahua?
Played? The played along.
Cassidy really believes that giving Pelosi this bill, and, a reconcilliation bill, she won’t go for more?
he’s dreaming or he’s drinking purple dank
We know what happpens to money the Dems vote to spend - it disappears.
I want a Trump-style audit of every project proposed - Trump cost versus Dem cost - and the Reps are 2 weeks behind in providing that to us
I read the article in the Post. That was the closest I’ve paid attention to Laura Ingraham since the week after the election.
I don’t think he believes it. His explanation made no sense. And the “bad guys” are the people who voted against this according to him. I think he was foolish to go on this show. Some Louisiana voters might see this and realize he doesn’t represent them?
What audits? Since the 2000s, I only remember ever-increasing budgets. It’s pretty sad, but at this point Bill Clinton is a model of fiscal responsibility. He probably doesn’t want to take credit for it.
I haven’t paid attention to her since she use to be a conservative. That was over ten years ago.
well, I’m thinking, that since lobbyists likely wrote most of the bill, that’s a clue who the money is going to go to.
For instance -broadband access in remote areas $65 Billion - where’s the breakdown to get to 65? that’s 2 players maybe a smaller regional? Cost per customer? Are they getting 65B because they’ll lose money? If they aren’t going to lose money, why isn’t it a loan? And how does broadband compare to sat? (Musks’s Skylink). Is this redundant? How does that mesh with the eco-drive to force more people into urbanization?
And right on down the line. Oh, we’re spending 1.1T don’t worry - doesn’t cut it. Americans want to know where every red cent is going, to whom, and why.
I’m sure less than 10% goes to worthwhile infrastructure needs. But don’t worry, some people will be getting rich off all this.
AS USUAL.
GOP ARE IN ON THE BIG GRIFT AND SOCIALISM.
As Rand Paul says: “Where’s the bipartisan deal to cut spending?”
Yep. Nice of them to out themselves. Vote the bums out.
we need to stop thinking that the pubs work for we the people......they do not....
Yup. We have two Democrat parties.
The people getting played are us.
he’ll feign shock and dismay and be saddened by the dems underhandedness...
all while preparing to receive kickbacks from various programs within the bill
Ingraham is oh so sharp - can’t get a thing past her that’s for sure /s/.
Fox dummy was talking to a Democrat/communist double agent and lectured him about getting played while HE was laughing inside at her.
Having the skunk on was her getting played by him.
Faux news - not your friend for a very long time.
The way I see it, no sense in worry or demand for accountability. The government is totally out of control and nno amount of engagement with it changes the situation. They are the Masters of the Universe and can do no wrong.
It’s going to get worse. Much worse.
Hard to ignore them, because the government causes so darn much damage, but worry is what they WANT you to do, then turn to them for the cure.
Saw the interview.
Cassidy was an ass.
Wouldn’t shut up. Yelled.
Loser.
Got played.
The RINOs knew what they were doing.
