Protesters demanding an end to the filibuster in order to pass voting rights legislation were arrested outside the U.S. Senate building on Monday.
...Some photographs posted to Twitter showed long lines of people waiting to be arrested by law enforcement officers from the United States Capitol Police (USCP)..
....The group is demanding the Senate and the White House eliminate the filibuster, pass all provisions of the For the People Act, fully restore the 1965 Voting Rights Act and raise the federal minimum wage to $15 per hour.
The protest coincided with the arrival of more than 100 state legislators who are joining Texas Democrats in Washington D.C. to lobby for the passage of voting rights legislation. The lawmakers from nearly 30 states are calling on the Senate to skip its summer recess and immediately pass the For the People Act....

A good journalist would have identified who sponsored the protest and how much each protester was paid.
“Voting rights”? What a disgrace.They do this because we have half the country who are so f-ing ignorant from social media and government schools who believe this.
If only those damn fools knew the concequeces of what they wanted . They would be the first to say ‘We did not mean for it to come to this!’ . They should all be rounded up and dropped off in Cuba.
These IDIOTS should be told that an end to the Filibuster works both ways; the Communists (oops, I meant democrats) have used the filibuster to their advantage when they are out of power.
Hopefully that will be soon.
If they’re not US citizens, and not paying real estate taxes, they should not be eligible to vote.

Did the capital police attack any of the protesters? Or shoot any of them dead, and then blame the protesters for it? Did they blame the protesters for any deaths by stroke the next day?

Nothing. We don’t have poll taxes, or literacy tests, we don’t limit voting to those who had voting ancestors, we don’t limit primaries to only the white vote, and we don’t require people to guess the number of marbles or feathers in a jar. Like Dems used to do.
Now there is the word ‘servitude’ “previous condition of servitude”, and there may be some felon prison widows who are advocating for felons to regain the vote under a twisted interpretation of ‘servitude’. (of course this goes up against the legal system that denies voting as part of the deterrant/extendedpunishment of those who’ve committed crimes against society) Other than that, no clue.
