Police in Paris used tear gas Saturday as thousands of protesters joined marches to denounce plans for vaccine “health passes,” the latest tensions around the world over government mandates to reward those who get vaccinated and maintain restrictions on those who refuse.
About 3,000 members of police and security forces were deployed in the French capital ahead of the demonstrations, which have flared weekly since the government announced the vaccine pass plans. Police fired tear gas and clashed with protesters in some areas. Protests also were held in other cities across France.
France is among a growing number of nations imposing rules aimed at encouraging vaccinations as the delta variant increases infection levels in parts of the world. France’s government-mandated health pass, set to begin Aug. 9, will require a vaccination, a negative coronavirus test or proof of having recently recovered from covid-19 to enter restaurants and other public spaces. France is also requiring health-care workers to be vaccinated by mid-September.

Emphasis on the “crazy”
We’re more well armed and value personal freedom more than the French. “Give me liberty or give me death” is still not a hollow phrase in the US. The French are more easily manipulated than americans but, apparently, even they have their limits.
Our “rulers” don’t want to risk this in the US. That is why Jan 6th is such a big deal to them. They know that they are setting themselves up for it happening again if they push too far. And next time people will take it much more seriously, and be armed.

Take a look at Sydney down unDUH! Choppers and troops supposedly enforcing lock downs there. So, why are they on the streets then?
The “clashes” caused by planted elements in a few spots while there were hundreds of peaceful protests across France.

Unlike the French, when Americans soon emphatically “Just Say No” they will not throw strawberry crepes at the bad guys.
The protests across France are not about the yellow vests. That is a corporate media lie.
The media is angry in France seeing huge protests against the totalitarian move to take out freedoms there.

I do this when I’m not working and have the time to do it.
Journalism needs a return to its roots covering the real events and separating them from the fake ones.
