New York, N.Y. — Last May, New Yorkers got COVID-19 vaccine cards and a nice bribe (a free one-week transit pass) in return for getting jabbed at Grand Central Station. But in a totally unforeseen set of circumstances, some Americans who don’t want the vaccines are buying fake “credentials.”
It’s almost like people think they are being forced into doing something against their rights.
Over 150 million Americans have been handed their papers with an official federal logo showing that they’ve been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. In a growing pattern that card is required to get into concerts, sporting events and workplaces, soon to be followed by transit, shopping, and probably watering one’s lawn.
But the cards can easily be fabricated by fraudsters and are being sold to people who need to show a record that they have been vaccinated but don’t want to get anywhere near the needle.
This unexpected black market in fake vaccine cards has alarmed law enforcement officials — and prompted some state legislators to act.
The measure will be sent to Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo after the state Senate and Assembly passed a bill that makes it a crime to possess or forge phony COVID-19 vaccine cards or digital passports (see what they did there? ALL in the name of ‘Public Safety’).
“I can’t think of too many things more despicable than people not wanting to get vaccinated but wanting proof that they were,” said New York Democratic state Assemblymember Jeffrey Dinowitz, who sponsored the Assembly bill. “They’re potentially putting people who can’t get the vaccine in harm’s way, like those who are immunocompromised or children under 12. That’s a horrible thing to do.”

A government that will force you to have a needle inserted into your arm for something with a threat level as low as Covid (while acknowledging that is indeed a threat to some people) is a government that can and will attempt to force you into anything, will subject you to anything, or will do anything to you in order to achieve a political goal.
And when you reach that point occupied by the Communist Chinese, who murdered tens if not hundreds of millions of their own people to achieve political goals, you have a government that is fully capable of any evil no matter how significant or insignificant their justification may be.

20 years ago, at my daughter’s college, you could purchase a pretty credible fake drivers license for about 26 different states. Given progress in scanners and printers since, it doesn’t take a superstar hacker to produce a vax card.
The mother and father of my ex-wife’s best friend growing up were from Poland and had those tattoos.
All an ID card is these days is a GUID that links it to a database.
It takes about 2 milliseconds to determine if it is fake.
Yup—it has not taken long for technology to turn into raw evil.
So you have a fake vaccine card. Big deal. No bail, no jail. What difference, now, does it make?

I have long since come to the conclusion that our fellow human beings cannot be trusted with the level of power we have given them.
There is corruption that is at the essence of our being that we must fight against and resist in ourselves. The founders of this country knew this well.
We have put ourselves in great peril by trusting others to govern as if they had those faults under control. Some do, but many do not.
Ya know ... I could SWEAR that the democrats were claiming just a few days ago that getting “voter id cards” is “impossible” and a “racist requirement” unfair to EVERY minority (and illegal alien) ....

The vaccine ID is just a GUID tied to a database with all your information.
The instant they scan it they will know it’s fake.
