LITTLE ROCK (KATV) Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson on Thursday declared a public health emergency amid a surge in COVID-19 cases and announced a special legislative session to change a law that prevents public schools from requiring masks.
Hutchinson said the declaration will allow the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management to seek staffing assistance from health workers outside the state. It also eases the process for retired health workers to re-enter the workforce and for medical students to become licensed.
The Republican governor said the White House is sending federal assistance at his request.
A previous emergency declaration expired May 30 as cases declined and vaccinations increased...

Was in line yesterday and a woman, probably late 60s, who told me she just started wearing a mask again and said, generally, that things were getting scary.
It was all I could do to not roll my eyes. I didn’t really respond., but did notice more people voluntarily wearing masks.
Wait... isn’t there a vaccine, and aren’t they all but demanding everyone take? I’m telling you, this simply does not all add up.

They need to keep this around until next November. Amazing that all of this seems to coincide with the fact that the audits might be picking up some steam and states are passing laws to, at least, try and get a handle on ‘mail in voting and drop boxes’.

There should already be a push to seek his resignation. If you’re the Governor and the people vote or sign a petition for you to leave, then you leave.
If a petition got enough signatures, what would he do?
“Hey everyone, I know that 65% of you signed this petition for me to leave but I’m not going anywhere. I don’t care what any of you think of me. I’m gonna stay til the very end and really make things hard on you. Might even change parties and start dealing with the Democrats.”

I personally witnessed it in Massachusetts and New Hanpshire.
I used to stay at a certain hotel close to work- one day I could not book it for an additional day because there were 3 bluebird busses outside and 100 Mexicans inside.
