WASHINGTON – New recommendations from federal health officials this week on when vaccinated Americans should don face masks came with a startling bolt of news: People who have had their shots and become infected with the delta variant of the coronavirus can harbor large amounts of virus just like unvaccinated people. That means they could become spreaders of the disease and should return to wearing masks indoors in certain situations, including when vulnerable people are present.
But the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention did not publish the new research. In the text of the updated masking guidance, the agency merely cited “CDC COVID-19 Response Team, unpublished data, 2021.”
Some outside scientists have their own message: Show us the data.
“They’re making a claim that people with delta who are vaccinated and unvaccinated have similar levels of viral load, but nobody knows what that means,” said Gregg Gonsalves, an associate professor at the Yale School of Public Health. “It’s meaningless unless we see the data.”
When CDC Director Rochelle Walensky spoke to reporters Tuesday, she cited the “new scientific data” but provided limited details about how the research was done. She said the data comes from outbreak investigations in which researchers compared delta infections among vaccinated and unvaccinated people.
The data will be “published imminently,” according to a federal official knowledgeable about the research but who was not authorized to be a spokesperson for the government.

Have taken radical steps to up my health, lost 23 pounds, take regular doses of D3 and Zinc. I never get the flu or a cold, can't remember the last time I was sick, 4 or 5 years ago? I think my body can ward off the virus if I get it, I am not using the vaccine for help with that.

Scientific research isn’t complete without peer review and conclusions should never be accepted without the review.
According to the CDC, the vaxxed are simply spreaders....ok, hilarious that they think masks will help. But the admission of vaxxed spreaders is telling.

If a COVID-19 "vaccine" doesn't prevent the disease but does limit the severity of it, then a "vaxxed" spreader is spreading the virus to vaxxed and non-vaxxed alike.

A few percent of the “fully vaccinated” are not immunized sufficiently, so yes, they can spread the virus.

biden, fauxi, and the cdc recommending masks and vaccines for our citizens to stop the spread of a “deadly virus” while biden opens the border, invites, welcomes, and spreads thousands of “disease carrying invaders” across our country during a “global pandemic” reeks of hypocrisy and proves we’re being lied to about the severity of this so called “deadly virus”...

The EUA was granted specifically to PREVENT the disease and not to make it milder.
“On December 11, 2020, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued the first emergency use authorization (EUA) for a vaccine for the prevention of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) in individuals 16 years of age and older.”

I have been lurking and occasionally commenting on vaccine threads for a few weeks now. Never once have I seen an unvaxxed person demand everyone else get vaxxed to protect him or her. I have heard in the media politicians and pundits demand the unvaxxed not be allowed near “my grandkids”. The data now seems to indicate that the unvaxxed are no more a threat to the grandkids than the vaxxed. Both can harbor and unknowingly spread the virus. If the only difference between the two groups is that the unvaxxed risk more suffering should they be infected, then the risk is solely their own and you no longer have the right to treat the unvaxxed as potential murderers.
