Do you reload? Do you hunt? I've done both since my youth. I'm old now. There are NO primers available, for a year. What you have is what you have. Lots of people have taken up reloading. Powder is occasionally available. Brass is tight but shows to be easing up a little. We badly need a primer manufacturer in Texas or state bordering Texas.

It is possible to rework primers and use them again. The common routes to that are corrosive and a last resort. Some chemicals are necessary and there is some risk, the average homeowner should not try to do it.

Black powder can be made simply, but again it is somewhat dangerous to make.

Yes. I’ve seen that, never done it.

I do cast bullets, but not that small. I cast 38/357, 30 caliber and 45-70 bullets.

Have a pretty good stock of jacketed bullets. I load 6 rifle calibers.
