New science has again prompted the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to update its mask guidelines. The CDC recommended on Tuesday that fully vaccinated people wear masks in public indoor settings "in areas with substantial and high transmission." That includes a large swath of the US right now, including the vast majority of counties in the South.
The CDC recommended that all teachers, staff, students, and visitors at K-12 schools mask up as well.
The goal of these new guidelines, CDC director Rochelle Walensky said, is to "help prevent the spread of the Delta variant and protect others."
The CDC said in May that vaccinated people don't need masks, a recommendation based partly on data indicating that vaccinated people were less likely to transmit the virus to others. But the Delta variant — now the dominant strain in the US — behaves differently than previous versions of the virus, Walensky said.

A few weeks ago I had to see my MD, when I checked in the receptionist asked me if I had the covid vax, I said no so they asked me to put on my mask which I did.
In the exam room the nurse walked in WITHOUT a mask snd again asked if I had the vaccine, again I said no.....she then leaned towards me (without a mask) and said “me either”.
So she’s walking around my DRs office unvaxxed and maskless....what a trip.
“So then why get vaxxed?”
Because, even though you have the “Delta Variant” you are not sick.
The real question is, “If you have a disease, that doesn’t make you sick in any way, are you really sick?” Similar to how people can carry around a shingles, or TB infection for years and not be either sick or contagious

I'm not in the least bit concerned about my long-term health prospects. Not when I was unvaccinated and not now. I never thought COVID was much of a threat and I don't think the vaccine is either. In the military I was given more shots than I could count. If I questioned every one of them, they'd have told me to go hit the bricks. I just accepted vaccines as a job requirement.
But what I really hate, what I really, really hate, are wearing the damn masks.
It's as random as anything else they do. If it's that critical, why not mandate it for immediate execution? Why wait?

Seems obvious to me the Left is losing control and they are frantic to find a way to regain it. They are totally out of control and never have I seen such an uncoordinated attempt on messaging as what is being seen today.
They are spreading fear porn in every direction like throwing sh*t against a wall and hoping some will stick. They see what is happening all over the world and here as well as people are standing up and outright refusing to follow gov edicts.
This will spread exponentially as more and more people begin to realize they don’t have to take orders from an overbearing government.
