New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu has signed a bill into law saying residents can't be required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to access public facilities, benefits or services.
Supporters say the bill signed this week establishes 'medical freedom' by specifying that all residents have the 'natural, essential and inherent right to bodily integrity, free from any threat or compulsion by government to accept an immunization.'
The law does not, however, supersede the state law regarding vaccinations as a prerequisite for admission to school. That law lists seven required vaccinations but does not currently include the COVID-19 vaccine.

New Hampshire seems to be about the only sane state in the north east.

For certain sure.
But many of them are old school liberals, not commies. They’re more independently minded, though they tend to support larger government roles in education and medicine.
Requiring a vax for services was a stretch for many classical liberals.
Time will tell.
I moved to NH from NY after college in 1985. It was an old time Yankee conservative state back then.
There was a poll a few years back that determined it was not so much the Massholes who were ruining NHers politics as much as the people from mid Atlantic states that move here and retire to their former vacation home in the lakes region.
These are the people paying those huge property tax bills for their lakefront multi million dollar homes. Then suddenly they want an income tax and services that were provided in their former. They no longer think that a system of government based primarily on locally controlled property taxes is not fair.
Most of the Massholes move to the border towns into Rockingham and Hillsborough counties within commuting distance to jobs in MA. Many move here to ESCAPE the Marxism politics of the Commonwealth.
The liberals of NH are concentrated in and around the college towns: Durham(UNH), Keene(Keene State), Lebanon/Hanover(Dartmouth), Plymouth(state). The city of Concord also tends to be more liberal because that is the state capital and has so many state government workers.
FYI, most recently, since covid, there has been a huge immigration into NH from the NYC area. These are the saps buying the very top of the housing market in the last year.
Several houses within a mile of my residence have sold to people with NJ & NY plates on their autos.
I was talking to my state rep about this just a week ago.
They (the conservatives in the legislature) stuck this in with the budget so that the RINO Sununu would be forced to sign it.
FYI, Sununu is going to run for US Senate against former Dem governor and current US Senator Maggie Hassan. He has an excellent chance of beating Hassan and taking back the US Senate seat that was lost by Kelly Ayotte. Sununu was the US Senator from NH until he lost to Jeanne Shaheen.
We used to live in Grafton, between Leb and Concord. Sold our nice 3500 sq ft house with 30 acres and now live in Montana. Had a ton of people from CT, NY, MA and NY looking at the place. Massive influx from those states. They will Vermontize poor NH. As Matt Bracken and Ferfal say, GET OUT NOW.
