SENATOR Jim Molan has warned that Australia could suffer as collateral damage if a US and China war broke out.
NSW Senator Jim Molan warned that Australia is unlikely to come out on top if it engaged in a war with China. While speaking to Sky News Australia with Chris Smith, he said China had the capacity to destroy Australia. He had previously claimed that China could defeat Australia in two days.
He also said Australia could end up as collateral damage in any conflict in the region.
He added, that the US may choose to not engage with China at all and Taiwan could simply fall to China.
Mr Chris Smith said: "Last week you were talking about the fact that even 270 billion dollars in new military hardware won't save us.
"This is because if China wants to wage war with us, if we join the US in this region, we will be over and done within about two days.

I am certain the world boycott China to such extent it would doom them!
Is he suggesting Australia simply surrender to the Chinese now, and avoid the unpleasantness of a confrontation?
China is far from invulnerable.
China could destroy Australia, no doubt.
Or, rather the cities if they used nukes.
But big brother would be pissed and exact terrible consequences.
What is happening is that, the probability of war with China increased tremendously with Biden’s election.
China will be rolling, and the U.S. will just sit while it happens.
A Korean War Vet friend of mind would go on and on about the Rice Munchers swarming over the hill
Australia could likely make their own nukes in about six months, if they chose to do so.
Which world is that?
I had a Korean War vet friend, too. Only he didn’t refer to them as Rice Munchers. His name for them was “YB’s”. You should be able to figure it out.
I believe the UK would nuke China if Australia was invaded.
But, I doubt what this guy says is true.
I think what he is saying is that Australia has not invested in itself militarily, because it chose socialism. Every socialist country in the world neglects its military for welfare checks.
He’s warning that Australia is at risk of ceasing to exist because it chose poorly.
Australia is more than a few feet away from China
China could sink a few Aussie ships - and then what? Invade Australia?
And then Mel Gibson would kick their donkey.
I don’t know if the Brits would play rough or not if rubber met the road.
Look at who is running things. Sad.

“Is he suggesting Australia simply surrender to the Chinese now, and avoid the unpleasantness of a confrontation? “
Why yes, that is exactly what he is suggesting.
The successful strategy (NOT) of all enslaved countries.
The linked website killed my browser. On what I read, I agree with him. But what are the alternatives? Any future where China rules then everyone else will be their slaves. The Chinese are racists who despise even other Chinese who are not Hahn. By avoiding war in the region, Australia will be the last to die? The answer, as it has been since the advent of the nuclear age, is not to fight the war, but to use deterrence. That deterrence is a credible threat that China will meet an overwhelming response that will doom the CCP. Threatening “China” is useless. The threat has got to be to the CCP as the CCP will sacrifice every last Chinese to remain in power. How do you threaten the CCP? The thing they fear above all else is internal revolution. The CCP knows that if the lifestyle of the proletariat Chinaman falls too far, that the people will revolt and overthrow the CCP. How would you threaten the CCP? Their oil has to flow past 17 countries that hates their guts. The bulk of their food is imported.
He’s right about $270 billion not protecting Australia. An aircraft carrier runs about $13 billion so $270 billion would probably buy one carrier battle group and operate it for a while. But Australia can and does leverage its position and has positioned itself with a reasonably stable (pre-Biden) ally. Its other options are to partner with Japan and a few other neighbors. None of whom officially has nuclear weapons. Although, I would not be surprised if Japan, and South Korea could mysteriously develop a pretty fair arsenal in a long weekend. Australia’s other choice is to become its own nuclear power. So, Australia, pick your plan and stick to it.
