The Russians did do solid on the final floor apparatus, so the overall win may not have been undeserved, but then one has to think about how the lowball scoring earlier might have impacted the Americans psychologically on that event and so on. It’s just the messiest women’s final I’ve ever seen.

The women's floor routines are always my favorites. The beam routine followed by uneven parallel bars are next. Sticking a landing on a vault really takes lots of practice. I'll wait for the Youtube replays to watch at a later time.
