… Manchin also pushed back at suggestion that it's time to pass the $3.5T budget plan if the $1.2 trillion bipartisan deal falls apart.

"I would say that if the bipartisan infrastructure bill falls apart, everything falls apart.”

Soo, let me get this straight, the Republicans were still pinning their hopes on a Democrat. One sane person must ask, why?

Republicans have been stabbing us in the back so long in their zeal to liked by Democrats — which never seems to pan out, does it — that they can’t seem to do anything else now.

If only they had actually shut down the government in the past few decades … but they cause us to proverbially roll over with them to make us take it up the pooper every time.

Keep dreaming, people. It’s going to pass after a bunch of posturing.

Just as soon as Manchin gets his "cut" ... he's taken lessons from "the big guy"

Sometimes I just shake my head in wonder and disgust at the raw stupidity of the GOP.

This is like the domestic version of the Iran Deal.

There's nothing to negotiate. The majority of the infrastructure bill will go to bail out blue cities like NYC, Chicago, and L.A. with make-work projects or set the stage for Green New Deal initiatives.

The GOP wants the infrastructure bill too because they don't want attack ads to run against them in 2022. Of course, they'll beat their chests and brag about how they all united to vote no for the massive bill that Dems will use Reconciliation to pass.

Also, I noticed that once against conservatives are pinning their hopes on Manchin or Sinema. Personally, if I was Manchin, I'd stick the shiv in the GOP. Why would I want to help a bunch of cowards?

“Soo, let me get this straight, the Republicans were still pinning their hopes on a Democrat. One sane person must ask, why?”

Because enough Republican voters are so dead-set on only voting for Republican ‘purists’ that Democrats managed to take control of the US Senate. But at least these Republican voters felt good about themselves, kind of like Tesla buyers and people who dutifully ‘recycle’.

Yep. Useful idiots doesn’t begin to describe it.

Usually the same members of this moron class will then turn to lizard people conspiracies instead of introspection.

It’s sad.

I don't think the continuous stabbings in the back are necessarily about Republican zeal to be liked by the Democrats. I think it is more about RINO's being as corrupt as the Democrats. Trying to keep it hidden from us is where the zeal comes in!!!

Manchin is from West Virginia, not a pro-Trump state, a state that loves President Trump.

Sen. Manchin isn’t doing AOC and the commies any favors.

Some people here can’t get used to it. They are eternal doggie downers. 😱🙄🐸👊🏽💩😂🤖

So you are still sore that that your favorite Democratic assistants did not get elected?

The senate was lost due to the assistance of RINO’s and other establishment republicans in sustaining the “big steal.”

Both parties refused to work with Trump on an infrastructure deal. Now both parties are chomping at the bit to get one with Biden. They are just dickering over the cost.

Tell me again about the lesser of two evils.

And FR still has assistant demoncraps accusing us of being "purists", like POST 10.

And what about Trump’s responsibility for running an awful campaign? A campaign based on bitterness is sure to lose.
