After December 31, 2021, CDC will withdraw the request to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) of the CDC 2019-Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) Real-Time RT-PCR Diagnostic Panel, the assay first introduced in February 2020 for detection of SARS-CoV-2 only. CDC is providing this advance notice for clinical laboratories to have adequate time to select and implement one of the many FDA-authorized alternatives.
A source from Gov. Newsom’s $100 million lab explained to the Globe in February about the high number of false positive PCR tests:
“Results from a positive PCR test should be considered as a preliminary result only and doesn’t determine an active infection or hospitalization rates. Doctors typically order these tests when a patient shows symptoms and the doctor suspects the patient has a high probability of having the disease. Once a result comes back positive, it must be confirmed with another test in order to be considered definitive.
The concern with Covid screening is that none of these steps are taken. A positive PCR has little clinical significance and increases our case numbers without confirming the presence of an active infection. Without the expertise of a physician and a confirmatory assay there is no way to determine if this is a true positive result.”

The PCR tests definitely differentiate the Sars2 virus from a flu virus or any other.
It seems what is being done is putting in a new test that can determine presence of flu virus and/or Sars2 virus in one test.

Maybe next time you should try reading the first sentence in the article being discussed??? Here it is for those who can't follow links the first time around, “The Center for Disease Control is finally pulling the flawed PCR tests because they can't differentiate between COVID and the Flu.” The public including you has been sold a boat load of crap. I know it is hard for you to give up on the fear porn, but give it a rest... please!!!

You don’t understand the PCR tests. Or the difference between a virus and the disease it causes.
Read it again. It does not say it cannot differentiate the Covid virus from the flu virus.
And now we know why there was virtually no “seasonal flu” reported and recorded last “flu season”.

The CDC is saying that testing outfits should use PCR panels that identify more than just SARS-COV-2, specifically the panels should also identify the flu. It's still a RT PCR test.
Flu cases will rise because those with the flu and also have traces of SAR-COV-2 in them will test positive for flu. Before they did not when that panel was used.
After almost a year and a half, they finally admit the PCR tests are worthless by themselves.
Why the hell should we believe anything they tell us after this?

The panel doesn't "differentiate between" SARS CoV-2 and influenza because all it does is identify SARS CoV-2.
Actually, it differentiates between SARS CoV-2 and everything else, including influenza.
What it never does is mistake influenza for SARS CoV-2.
Wow and how lucky is Soros and Gates they just purchased a company that makes a more accurate test.
