Also on Monday, a story came about about Facebook suspending a women for hate speech for joking “Why are men so dumb?” in response to a meme.

If the social media giants are too stupid to tell the difference between friendly teasing and hate speech they are too stupid to be relied on to determine who is dangerous and who is not.
GIFCT slept through last year’s violence. Why the hell didn’t it shift its focus then, if it is concerned about domestic violence?
