California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced that all government employees and healthcare workers will have to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or be tested at least weekly as infections due to the delta variant climb.
California “will have the strongest state vaccine verification system in the U.S.,” Newsom said on Monday. “We’re experiencing a pandemic of the unvaccinated. Everyone that can get vaccinated —should.”
The policy doesn’t quite equal a mandate in that workers will be able to keep their jobs without having to get the vaccine as long as they submit to testing. Government employees may be required to comply as soon as next week, while healthcare workers in private and public hospital systems will have until late August to get the shots if they so choose.
“As the state’s largest employer — we’re leading by example. Vaccines are the solution,” Newsom said. “We encourage local governments and other businesses to follow suit.”

Indeed, why not both since the “vaccine” doesn’t seem to stop one from getting the China Virus.
Because vaccinated people are far less likely to get I’ll and are therefor far less likely to transmit disease.
Seriously. Current science shows the ration of vaccinated people getting covid is the same or even higher than non-vaxxed.
So the question is - why not go full Nazi and require vaccines every 3 months AND routine testing.
I know, use that PCR test. Oh wait. The CDC just admitted it’s a FAILED method of testing for covid.
Oh well. Just return to a COMPLETE LOCKDOWN. Look at how well that’s working Down Under.

How about unvaccinated but recovered from covid and therefore have natural immunity?
IF what you say is true, then it still must be considered against the known dangers of these vaccines that I and millions of other un-vaxxed people need not worry about.
We’ll take our chances with a disease with a 98% recovery rate.
And what if the non-jabbed person has already had COVID and has a natural immunity? Why weekly tests for people that have longer lasting immunity from COVID than the supposedly “vaccinated” lab-rate and test monkeys?
This is just a form of government harassment and it is evil and unconstitutional.
Why test weekly? Why not daily? Why not hourly? Why not between patients?
As long as they don’t have to show an ID to establish that proof. It sounds racist to me anyway.
Newsom forced infected people into retirement homes and killed thousands of people. The democrats also block HCQ as well killing even more people.
