Nancy Pelosi used to point her angry finger at Donald Trump, but she leaves him for dust when it comes to busting norms, dividing Congress and causing mayhem. If anyone is to blame for the hyper-partisanship in Washington these days, it’s the spiteful House speaker.
She behaves more like a Mafia don waging a gang war than a dignified, fair and honest presiding officer, which is what the speaker’s role requires.
Pelosi abuses her power in ways that once were unthinkable. Her speakership has been the antithesis of Lincoln’s entreaty to “the better angels of our nature.” Everyone in Congress — and by extension the nation — has been sullied by the spite and vitriol she has injected into the political sphere. There is no grace or Christian charity, just the barren wasteland of the zero-sum game, power for power’s sake.
It’s made all the worse by her increasingly frantic claims to be a “devout Catholic.”
The fact that all this venom is packaged in the shape of a small, elderly, expensively shod woman has bestowed upon her an element of deference her actions do not deserve. But last week there were a couple of signs that she’s finally worn out her welcome.
One was her game-playing over the Jan. 6 select committee, when she arbitrarily rejected two Republicans — Jim Jordan of Ohio and Jim Banks of Indiana — from an already stacked panel.
She claimed “integrity” required her veto since the two Republicans had “made statements and taken actions that I think would impact the integrity of the committee.”
Hah. This is a committee which includes such models of integrity as Adam “Steele Dossier” Schiff.
Pelosi is scared of Jordan and Banks, even though she has the majority.

Several are in early stage dementia including the President and the Speaker of the House. The Senate minority leader is still about as sharp as you can be at 80 but it's obvious his only focus is on his and the Republicans power in Washington.
Now their backs are against the wall just at the time they have achieved their lives goal of seizing full control of the United States government. They will stop at nothing to make their takeover permanent and the American people don't seem to realize the danger that they are in
And all hate America with a passion.
They are very dangerous people who are capable of doing much damage to our country.
Pure hate can keep the evil alive. It is a strong force in nature.

Tony Snow was easily among a handful of truly “decent guys” in the media or politics. No one since has stood up at the plate like Tony.
My wish is for Tony’s family to forever cherish such a son, husband and parent. Odds are that he was also the best brother-in-law and neighbor a guy could hope for.
I’m not sure they hate America... its made them wealthy, they hate people in the way, that is you... they work for the ultra wealthy and a totalitarian form of government is more efficient and easier to control... its about power and money.
Want to end this dynamic? Repeal the 17th Amendment.
The best check and balance would be Senate elected by the people but unanswerable to the State Legislatures.
That list is missing this:
“Bring in tens of millions of illegal aliens to vote for us”

17th took power away from the states. We are supposed to be a republic, not a democracy. There is not a good side to the 17th.

It’s how she was raised, considering her father was in the N.J. mobs when she grew up. It’s what she knows, and it works for her.
