CDC Quietly Revokes RT-PCR Emergency Use Authorization Because They Counted Covid-19 and Influenza Together

CDC Quietly Revokes RT-PCR Emergency Use Authorization Because They Counted Covid-19 and Influenza Together

Here’s a punch in the gut for a nation that’s already hurting. As it turns out, the so-called “gold standard” testing referenced by so many “doctors” like Anthony Fauci, as well as government officials across the board, has had its Emergency Use Authorization revoked.

The CDC announced, albeit quietly, on Wednesday that the RT-PCR tests used to tell millions of Americans they’re infected with Covid-19 has been unable to accurately differentiate between the various coronaviruses. Of particular note is the inability of these tests to know whether someone is infected with Covid-19 or influenza.

Are you freaking kidding me? https://t.co/exEqkFxl4w— Steve Deace (@SteveDeaceShow) July 25, 2021

To be clear, this is not a new development. These assays have been known for years to be unable to distinguish between the different types of coronaviruses, but they ran with it anyway. According to the CDC website [emphasis added]:

After December 31, 2021, CDC will withdraw the request to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) of the CDC 2019-Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) Real-Time RT-PCR Diagnostic Panel, the assay first introduced in February 2020 for detection of SARS-CoV-2 only. CDC is providing this advance notice for clinical laboratories to have adequate time to select and implement one of the many FDA-authorized alternatives.

In preparation for this change, CDC recommends clinical laboratories and testing sites that have been using the CDC 2019-nCoV RT-PCR assay select and begin their transition to another FDA-authorized COVID-19 test. CDC encourages laboratories to consider adoption of a multiplexed method that can facilitate detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses.< Such assays can facilitate continued testing for both influenza and SARS-CoV-2 and can save both time and resources as we head into influenza season. Laboratories and testing sites should validate and verify their selected assay within their facility before beginning clinical testing.

...

The RT-PCR assays could detect the presence of a coronavirus from a swab in real-time, making it a good indicator of the potential for Covid-19 infection. In a sane world that wasn’t driven by a nefarious agenda, positive results on the RT-PCR tests would have been treated as indicators that someone needed to get a real test, like an antigen test, to determine if they were infected. But this isn’t a sane world and the powers-that-be saw an opportunity to bump up numbers to drive panic. They ran with it, and revoking the EUA means they’re done with that particular type of fearmongering. The RT-PCR assays served their purpose.

The other reason for this move is very concerning. This shift and its timing both indicate the powers-that-be are anticipating a need to differentiate between the various coronaviruses. If it really is the need to differentiate Covid-19 and influenza as they’re claiming, then that jibes with the sudden push to maximize or even mandate flu vaccines within months. If that’s the scenario they have planned, expect a sudden surge in flu cases after a year where they “miraculously” disappeared thanks to RT-PCR tests claiming everything was Covid-19.

If it’s not really flu they’re trying to detect, what is it? What do they know? What do they have planned? Is there another novel coronavirus on its way? Are they expecting Covid-19 variants to mutate into variants that will require different treatments, perhaps different “vaccines”?

If we’ve learned anything in the last year-and-a-half, it’s that we cannot dismiss “conspiracy theories” without asking real questions. I was never a conspiracy theorist in the past just as I was never an anti-vaxxer, but 2020 and 2021 have made me realize things really are as bad as some have been saying. Reality may be worse than the dystopian future they’ve been warning us about for years.

The RT-PCR tests they’ve been touting for 17-months are suddenly being blacklisted by the CDC. They lied from the start and they’re switching to new lies for whatever is coming around the corner. Question everything, folks.

Another way to read that:

We had a sh1t ton of false positives for covid last year

First they ran these tests 35-40 cycles to generate huge amounts of false positives

Now there wil be more false positives because milions of cases were flu, not covid

They all knew this and deliberately wanted the massive high hysteria numbers

FEARPERS, YOU SIMPS

YOU HAVE BEEN PLAYED

YOU ARE THEIR USEFUL IDIOTS

As more and mre evidence rolls in you’ve been played and used, when will you finally admit it?

As an example of a Multiplex test that got a EUA, a company called Zymo Research received a EUA for their Quick SARS-CoV-2 rRT-PCR Kit in May 2020.

Their EUA was only for SARS-CoV-2. Yet, their test kit could detect many other pathogens, including others in the coronavirus family as well as several types of influenza.

EVERYTHING is now an EMERGENCY.

When the wolf has sheep to work with it's easy to create that situation.

I understand some fruits and vegetables did as well. The mask wearing sheep continue to be led to slaughter and bravely thump their chest about how they got the vaccine and how public spirited and responsible they are.

They had a problem, but the praetorian guard media and govt functionaries will never let the public know.

Of course they won't.

Good Lord.

"CDC will withdraw the request to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) of the CDC 2019-Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) Real-Time RT-PCR Diagnostic Panel, the assay first introduced in February 2020 for detection of SARS-CoV-2 only."

So they rushed out an assay in February 2020 because of the urgency of the blossoming pandemic.

Since they rushed it out it only detected Covid-19 and wasn't intended to be a broad test identifying multiple pathogens.

Since much broader assays, including those that detect influenza virus and others, are now available they're recommending people update their processes.

So of course the credulous anti Covid-vaxxes think they've hit on the big conspiracy-buster piece of evidence that will show this has been just the flu all along.

Pathetic.

The cloth mask thing was an absolute joke because...at best...it was half azzed. No eye protection mandate made the mouth and nose protection mandate meant this was political science and not science.

"SARS-CoV-2: eye protection might be the missing key Published:February 23, 2021

Remarkably, a year after the COVID-19 outbreak, we remain ineffectual against widespread community infection. Perhaps, something major is missing in our approach?

The importance of aerosols versus droplets1 is debated—most viral transmission appears to be via virus-laden droplets, with the greatest risk in crowded, inadequately ventilated environments. Proximity to those infected poses the greatest risk. Currently, the presumed major viral invasion modalities involve inhalation or hand contamination of mucosal surfaces, despite studies to the contrary from a century ago2 showing the importance of eyes as an influenza infection route. Ocular surface droplet deposition is greatly underappreciated as a probable, frequent route for SARS-CoV-2 transmission.3

Eye-protective face shields have been proposed to prevent community transmission.5 A large study6 showed that 19% of health-care workers became infected, despite wearing three-layered surgical masks, gloves, and shoe covers and using alcohol rub. After the introduction of face shields, no worker was infected.

In his landmark 1919 study,2 Maxcy used an atomised solution of Serratia marcescens as a marker to show that in adequately masked patients who had their eyes exposed, bacteria could be readily cultured from the nasopharynx. The ocular surface and its connection via the nasolacrimal duct, permits access of respiratory viruses, to the respiratory system, gut, and circulation. These viruses are more appropriately termed oculotropic.7

The eyes are located at a vantage point, simultaneously sensing high bandwidth information but are also exposed to the airborne risk.3 Ocular surface area, including periocular structures, is large compared with the surface of the mouth and nares and is readily available for droplet deposition.2 This area has been calculated to be around 10 000 mm2, two orders of magnitude greater than for the nares and mouth.3 The tear film protects the ocular surface but also provides an unrecognised vehicle for viral carriage into the nose.

...

The predominant physical barrier approach, by masking mouths and noses, provides variable protection and ease of use and comfort but could be inadequate when worn for extended periods of time. Masks serve a dual purpose of preventing droplet transmission and wearer protection. However, a 2020 meta-analysis concluded that the wearing of surgical masks in non-health-care settings was not associated with a significant reduction in acute respiratory illness incidence;9 furthermore, there are several supportive studies.10 In 1919 and during the great world plague epidemics, “masking of the whole face, eyes included, [had] been wonderfully effective”2, yet the relative importance of protecting eyes remains unexplored. "

If they were serious, and this was about science...they would have mandated eye protection as well.

The whole thing has been one cluster-F after another.

I have not seen a reference to this interview anywhere. Apparently Covid was actually man-made and the drug companies received patents for it in the early 2000s. The vaccine for it was patented, once again by the drug companies, in 2008. The scientists in the interview explain the patents and reference the various patent numbers. I checked out the patents using numbers given in the interview and they check out. Appears this pandemic has been a total scam.

Wow!

Wrong on both accounts. These test were multi-pathogen capable but the EUA covered covid only...not for detecting anything else. Secondly, "Since much broader assays, including those that detect influenza virus and others, are now available" - multiplex test ("much broader assays" as you say) have been around well before "now available." A May 2020 example upthread.

They are not yanking a EUA for a test that singularly, only specifically tested for covid and covid only and was incapable of testing for anything else.

CDC’s Diagnostic Test for COVID-19 Only and Supplies (Updated July 13, 2021)

The CDC 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) Real-Time RT–PCR Diagnostic Panel detects the SARS-CoV-2 virus in upper and lower respiratory specimens. It is designed to be used with an existing RT-PCR testing instrument commonly used to test for seasonal influenza virus.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) gave Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for this test on February 4, 2020. The 2019-nCoV Real-Time RT-PCR Diagnostic Panel Instructions for Use contain information about the test, its intended use, the test procedure, and performance characteristics. The EUA website has published the FDA Letter of Authorization   for the diagnostic panel. The letter defines the authorized use and the conditions of authorization that apply to CDC and to testing laboratories that use this test. Manufacturers and test developers interested in the right of reference to the 2019-nCoV Real-Time RT-PCR Diagnostic Panel performance data are encouraged to read these FAQs.

From that FDA letter of authorization:

Absolutely pathetic.

??? I think you have it backwards. No one was using it as a broad test. They were using it to test for Covid-19 and it was picking up influenza as well. That's a big problem, right? The kind of problem described in the title of the article:
