I have just had a glimpse into the future.
I saw Pres.(or V.P.) DeSantis ass-can the entire US Forestry Dept. and most everyone in it. Leadership and staffing are replaced with peeps who will properly manage this resource.
DeSantis assumes office in Jan ‘25. First fires ignite that summer. Firings begin Jan. ‘26. I hope that’s soon enough.

The question for Australians is just how far will the government go to “fight” COVID?
They are going into another TOTAL lockdown.
Lockdowns don’t help, as Sweden showed. All they do is prolong the inevitable, that people will get the COVID virus and then get over it.
