And yet our ‘betters’ promoting vaccines - and vaccines for everyone believe if you give the young ones an experimental treatment (with no long term safety study) you will be saving lives of the elderly and vaxed (since around 90% of people at risk have received at least one shot.) It still continues to piss me off.

The statistics for Sweden in the age range 0 - 19 years is:

175 000 with disease
(certainly a minimum figure since for the first half year or so of the pandemic hardly any testing was carried out)

80 treated in ICU

15 deceased

That makes the risk of ending up in ICU if you catch COVID-19 in that age range: 0.046%
- ie roughly 5 / 10 000

And risk of dying due to COVID-19: 0.0086%
- ie roughly 9 /100 000

I expect that very many of those unfortunate to get such a serious disease and even succumbing to it were people with severe co-morbidities.
