Bob Dole: 'I'm a Trumper' but 'I'm sort of Trumped out'
The Hill ^ | 07/22/2021 | Mychael Schnell

Former Republican Sen. Bob Dole (Kan.) told USA Today in an interview that “I’m a Trumper,” before adding later that “I’m sort of Trumped out, though.”

Dole, the former Senate majority leader and Republican candidate for president in 1996, was one of the few individuals from the GOP establishment to endorse Trump in 2016, and was the only former presidential nominee to go to the convention that nominated him.

While he said he is still a “Trumper,” he did break from the former president on the outcome of the 2020 presidential election, telling USA Today “he lost the election.”

There have been stages of governme
There was the Mcarthy era

There was the elite sophisticated era where Washington did what what the elite do...

We are seeing a new government being formed of fed up volunteers.. they want a MAGA government that works for us.. America first and prosperous.

What comes around goes around.

Are the left’s “journalists” so desperate as to interrogate a guy who 1) got his ass kicked in a presidential election, and; 2) is getting close to the status of a vegetable?

Aren’t there some deserving cadavers in local cemeteries they can dig up for comment? After all, they are voters, right?

I'm both Trumped Out & Bidened Out. Obviously, the Dems' policies comprise a destructive force regarding U.S. founding principles and thus the country itself.

But Trump, his politically naive "advisors," and the Republican Party couldn't even figure out the Dems' game until after the so-called "election." (Too late, thanks for playing, President Trump & Republicans. You "lose." Better "luck" next time.)

The Idiocracy escalated when Trump inspired those idiots in front of the Capitol. Those idiots storming the Capitol building was really idiotic - there's no other word to use. If those idiots hadn't done that, Republicans would have a much better case against the Dems' stolen election. Instead, anytime any Republican says anything about the stolen election, the instant response from Dems is: "So you Republicans actually prefer the typical Republican practice of maniacally storming the Capitol Building? That figures." (That stymies any input from Republicans - thus the Dems heavily control the U.S. electorate's mindset. Nice job, Republican "storm-troopers.")

Trump's not the brightest bulb (but at least he's a lot smarter than the dimwitted Sleepy Joe). Unfortunately, there's no half-intelligent Republican politician to replace Trump. As Trump himself might say: Sad. Communist "Kung-Flu" China is totally loving it - everything is going according to its Master Plan. And the Dems are still efficiently brainwashing the country 24/7/365 about the "despicable" U.S. and slavery, they've convinced tens of millions of Americans that the U.S. is more racist than ever, they're confidently pushing so-called "social justice" throughout the Corporate world, and they're also successfully promoting their unabashedly racist campaign of "Buy Black" across the nation. The Dems know explicit "reparations" will never pass muster, so the Dems instead concluded that all of their new explicitly racist programs, in perpetuity, are a very effective substitute for reparations. Dem politicians: Very sneaky and shrewd. Republicans: Not so much.

Opus?

Trump had nothing to do with anyone going into the Capitol. They were in there before he even started speaking. Most of them were BLM and Antifa dressed in “MAGA gear” as they admitted themselves online.

The Dems and RINOs are all on the same side. Please try to keep up.

Bob Dole is 98. I will always respect him for supporting Trump when all the other establishment Republicans were acting like little bitches.

I stopped paying attention to Bob when he found the need to push Viagra for supplemental income.

He attended Trump’s Inauguration.

I hoped that POTUS Trump would have stopped and talked to him on his way out but it didn’t happen.

I’m sure there were too many distractions on the Dais, but it would have been a great moment to respect the Old Guard.

Bob Dole was and is a Patriot.

Yes, before anyone responds, I still remember his ED Commercials. LOL

With all due respect, that’s a bit like “respecting” Mitch McConnell for rejecting Merrick Garland for the Supreme Court, but then he consented to Garland becoming Attorney General four years later, which is a position in which Garland is doing great harm.

Apparently Dole is unaware of what is happening in AZ and GA and he is definitely not aware of the fact the Courts would not even allow the evidence to be presented and so wouldn’t even here the cases presented due to “lack of evidence supporting the charge”

Bob Dole: 'I'm a Trumper' but 'I'm sort of Trumped out'

It's your age Bob, you're 98 and probably just plain "out" of it.

Trump had nothing to do with anyone going into the Capitol.

Very true -- on that day, Trump was quietly vacationing in Monaco and was absolutely nowhere near the Capitol building nor had anything whatsoever to do with it. Great point! I'm sure the average American voter believes your statement.

Most of them were BLM and Antifa dressed in “MAGA gear” as they admitted themselves online.

Also a fantastic point. Unfortunately, the MSM controls the narrative, the Dems are relentless, and thus the vast majority of American voters are absolutely horrified by the Republicans wildly storming the Capitol building. Fortunately, the rabid MSM was unable to identify and widely report on even one Republican Trump supporter as one of the Capitol building "storm-troopers." LOL.

The Dems and RINOs are all on the same side.

Thank you for educating me about that, Captain Obvious.

Please try to keep up.

Thanks for the encouragement. My point is the Democrat Party Cabal continues successfully hammering Trump & the Republicans for the past 1 1/2 years. Republican Party needs to learn some new skills fast, otherwise Dems/Socialist Soros/Communist China will increasingly control the U.S.

Bob Dole is a good man even if he isn’t the most conservative. I disagree with him regarding the election but people can agree to disagree I suppose. I am a little Trumped out too, I would rather see DeSantis in 2024.

well, Bob, are you Bidened out yet?

************

That should be the real point. The country is a mess and Biden’s letting it happen, yet Dole wants to look backward.
