Another one that’s gone down the memory hole is some radical leftists committed a terrorist attack on the U.S. Senate in 1983, bombing the capitol building and trying to murder U.S. Senators in response to Reagan’s actions in Grenada. Slick Willie later pardoned the terrorist wackos, which was met with a shrug from the leftist media.

The more you learn about history and remember all the BLM “peaceful” protests and leftist screaming about the “stolen” elections in 2000, 2004, and 2016, the more their faux “outrage” about this year’s capitol incident and crying about “Trump’s supporters refusing to acknowledge the election results” come across as pathetic kabuki theater.
my only thought is that who ever is a part of Pelosi’s investigation is probably the group that arranged for the break down of security that day....pelosi cant risk involving anyone but others that are as compromised as she is....if this was an honest investigation Pelosi would not object to a diversity of opinion with in the representation
I suppose McCarthy could strip her of all committee assignments. The only current one she has is a member Committee on Armed Services, and an upcoming vote as the token "Republican" member of the January 6 Select Committee, but Pelosi put her on there.
She remains a member of two conservative caucus groups, the Republican Study Committee (which should also boot her promptly) and the Congressional Western Caucus.
They could end up with 10 rabid lifelong hard-left RATS writing the report in advance of any "investigation" and issuing a "conclusion" that says "The damage caused by the Jan. 6th riot was worse than the Holocaust & 9/11 combined, and is clearly & entirely the direct fault of the actions of Donald J. Trump", which Princess Liz would happily sign her name to.
The media would then duly inform the public about the totally independent and apolitical "bipartisan" report.
