I’ve been searching for just the right adjective to use for Mitt Romney. In the spirit of full disclosure, I must sadly confess that I voted for Mitt for President in 2012. At the time, even a vote for a RINO was preferable to voting for someone openly calling for the destruction of everything America stands for -- that being Barack Hussein Obama.
But since 2018, Mitt has been on a divergent path from conservatism. RINOs are despised by conservatives, but the term doesn’t even come close to describing the awfulness of Mitt Romney for the movement.
Is Mitt Romney unprincipled? Perhaps Romney is just another garden-variety politician who believes in nothing and stands for anything that will get fawning press coverage. After all, he asked for Trump’s endorsement in his election bid, and then immediately began denouncing the Donald. He even voted to impeach President Trump -- twice! Spare me the excuse that he was “doing the right thing” and “voting his conscience.” There’s this little thing called “evidence” that principled people consider before convicting someone -- even a President. After all, we supposedly subscribe to the principle of “innocent until proven guilty” -- assuming one has principles.
Yet in the first impeachment, every single witness admitted under oath to no direct knowledge of wrongdoing by President Trump. We don’t convict people on the basis of innuendo and rumors -- even if their name is Donald Trump. But Senator “Voted My Conscience” still voted for conviction. Did he not listen to the witnesses, or did he not care what they said?
In the second impeachment, there was no evidence even submitted to the Senate. The House Democrats were in such a hurry to impeach President Trump before he left office that they couldn’t be bothered...

May I propose an alternative narrative than RINO? A leader is defined by his followers. No followers, no leader. Question: Does the Republican Party need leaders who appeal to the Knowledge Class or not? Does the Republican Party need a coalition of Working Class and white collar class to win elections? Or in your opinion should Republicans abandon the white collar voter altogether? What is going on is not a race war but a class war. This war is as old as the Roman Empire where the Patrician Gracci brothers formed a coalition with the Plebians against the Roman Senate and the army? So, back to my original question: should the Republican Party have candidates that can appeal to the white collar voter? You answer it, not me.
The problem with the last election was 5 Republican-controlled legislature states twisted the election rules in favor of Biden. These legislatures cast a blind eye to all this then afterwards pretended to enact election reforms and conduct audits so as not to appear they were complicit in the election rigging. Those 5 states elections were legal, in the sense they followed what the legislatures and secretaries of state set forth as the rules. But they were obviously not fair or moral. IMHO the 2020 election was pre-negotiated between the parties for a predictable outcome as the only apparent explanation of what happened. All elections are apparently done this way. Elections and wars are all manipulated and are too important to leave to the electorate or the citizens (sarcasm). What say you?

If it’s any consolation, I expect the dufus actually won in 2012. The cheat-machine was working even then, and the Magic Negro had lost his luster.
Romney was too stupid to realize that he was the designated loser, long before the vote.
Conservatives did not know what FOX was becoming, back then. Now, they either know or refuse to see the obvious.
Utah should be embarrassed for voting this two faced jerk!

This is a family forum. The word to best describe Mitt Romney can’t be used.
He’s either an idiot or someone has compromising pictures.
I know, this time let’s strap Mitt to the roof and let the dog drive.
Does it start with jerk and end with off?
Mitt Romney is a moderate Democrat who denies the Jesus Christ of the Bible.
