In West Virginia, pressure continues to grow on Senator Joe Manchin (D) to oppose the partisan “infrastructure” package concocted by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Senate Budget Committee Chairman Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.). The proposed package – which would move through the process of budget reconciliation – could put around 10 million illegal aliens on a pathway to citizenship...
Political leaders in West Virginia have already sounded the alarm. Led by Delegate Riley Keaton, 32 legislators from West Virginia’s House of Delegates wrote to Senator Manchin demanding that he reject any amnesty provisions in the reconciliation package. The delegates emphasized that “amnesty for illegal immigrants redistributes wealth from working class Americans through increased economic competition.” They also highlighted the need for the federal government to enforce the rule of law as written in the U.S. Code while respecting the sanctity of our national sovereignty by improving border security.
Polling in West Virginia also shows that including amnesty for millions as part of the infrastructure package is unpopular. By large margins, 52% to 34%, West Virginia voters object to the use of budget reconciliation “to enact major immigration legislation.” Opposition to including amnesty for millions of illegal aliens cut across all demographic and party lines. Further, voters reject the idea of large-scale amnesty in the midst of unprecedented numbers of new illegal migrants crossing our borders.
Most revealing, 55% of respondents said they would be less likely to support Senator Joe Manchin if he were to support efforts to short-circuit normal Senate rules in order to gain amnesty for illegal aliens...

Other Dem senators like Kelly and Sinema will have a tough time voting for amnesty. So will Warnock and Hassan.
We shall see if his political career is more important to him than the nations citizens.
the Republic is hanging by a Manchin thread
Flimsey Grahamnesty, Micro Rubio, Cornyn, Tillis, Hoeven and others will take up the slack and assist the Democrats.
Nope. A $3.7 trillion bill will get no Rep votes.
What do the Vegas odds makers say?
New tag line
Two words: Mitt Romney
The RATs are also trying to sneak in Nationwide Fraud Friendly voting in this bill. This process by passed the Filibuster to make funding the Government easier , not as a defacto method of jamming in anything they want. Rules? That is for the Plebs!
We need a roving gang of 25,000 protesters with funding and buses to go around the country and show up at state capitals(but not go inside) like blmantifa has.
Nope. They won’t even get Romney. But they probably don’t need him. Manchin will fold.
Manchin’s predictable that way. As soon as he gets his bribe he folds like a cheap suit. That’s his record.
Let’s put it this way . . . Manchin needs to have a “Come to Jesus Meeting”. His political career with the voters is nothing compared to his accountability to God for having party affiliation that is mass murdering His Creation. I think he needs to change churches if they condone abortion let alone political party.
Do you think he actually realizes the fence he’s sitting on?
Nope. He said he is voting against the bill. Too much money. He was part of the bipartisan group that supported the smaller infrastructure bill.
I assume he knows the truth about fence sitting if he spent any time in church unless it’s a bona fide lukewarm church he has attended most of his life (if he attends at all). Everyone has a choice and what is worse if a person who chooses unwisely is an influencer of others. Everyone needs to self-reflect.

I Doubt Manchin makes his decisions based on his faith or he wouldn’t be a Demorat . He reminds me of the Republican Rhinos....holding out till the last moment in order to get the biggest pay off he can get for his vote.
