Pollsters: "Impossible" to say why 2020 polls were wrong
MSN.com ^ | 18 July 2021 | Steven Shepard

Posted on 07/18/2021 10:55:53 PM PDT by zeestephen

National surveys of the 2020 presidential contest were the least accurate in 40 years, while the state polls were the worst in at least two decades...But unlike 2016, when pollsters could pinpoint factors like the education divide as reasons they underestimated Donald Trump and offer specific recommendations to fix the problem, the authors of the new American Association for Public Opinion Research report couldn't put their finger on the exact problem they face now.

They didn’t dial their FRAUD FUDGE FACTOR (the “FFF”) up high enough. Plain and simple.

Now with all the undeniable facts of fraud coming out in AZ, GA and PA, they are throwing in everything they can think of to continue the con, but the ship is sinking and they just can’t bail the water fast enough.

Ballot Box stuffing is difficult to poll for.

The pollsters need only poll the vote counters and tabulators.

When a majority of Democrats are liars and cheaters and will stop at nothing to win, it must make the polling job very difficult.

The voter fraudsters didn’t tip off the poll fraudsters to their illegal racket, so they both tried to rig the election in their own ways...

Rich Baris explains this in under 5 minutes. Polls didn’t address any income or education gaps in 2020, they simply polled more college students as “non-college” to replace the missing non-college educated working class voters for President Trump. Since the vast majority of fradulent votes for Sleepy Joe also came from this younger set, they kept predicting a Sleepy landslide as opposed to him barely “winning” the EC by less than 200,000 fake votes across 4 states.

I don’t see how this helps our side since it basically says Biden should’ve won by even more than he did

Thanks for the post, and this should be in the lead also:

"According to the report, national polls of the presidential race conducted in the final two weeks of the election were off by an average of 4.5 percentage points, while the state polls were off by just over 5 points. Most of the error was in one direction: Looking at the vote margin, the national polls were too favorable to now-President Joe Biden by 3.9 points, and the state polls were 4.3 points too favorable for Biden."

No bias here! (Note: you can normally can post up to 300 words from sites as MSM - count here and 100 words are shown the article excerpt page, which you can set to show up to 250 per page, and thus it is helpful to provide the meat of the article in excerpts. But sorry if this exhortation is unwelcome.)

I never object to exhortation at Free Republic.

I try to keep my article summary brief, especially when numbers are involved.

I had a long relationship with the editor of my college newspaper.

It's all her fault!

I think the polls have been designed to overstate the support for Democrat candidates for years. They want to encourage the Democrats and discourage Republican voters.

But censoring whatever affirms Biblical Truth is a primary concern of today's editors! As for FR, for those of us who skim the Everything Articles page at least once a day then having the meat of an article in the excerpt saves time, and sets is apart from so many other sites which constantly want to you to open a new page so they can throw more ads at us. Yet that is free enterprise.
